Food Storage Containers Review

This is a set of 10 storage containers from Modern Home Chef. There are 10 bowls that are 28 ounces and 10 lids as a cover for each. The bowls are black and the lids are see through.

The containers are micro wave safe. It does say you need to remove the lid and set it back on top with out sealing it to the container so it can vent. These containers can be used for for storage in a freezer. These work great for packing lunches for work and school. They are perfect for left overs put into the fridge. Since they are sealed you do not have to worry about your food in the fridge tasting like everything else in the fridge.

The containers do seal. This is not a hard seal like the Lock and Lock containers or a strong vaccuum seal like Tupperware containers. It is a simple clip type seal. This seal does not keep the container sealed if you drop it though. If you drop these containers be prepared to pick up a mess if you have it filled. Next in the freezer you have to be careful with this containers to not put to much on top of them. The seal will break under pressure and you can get some freezer burn.

If you are looking for a budget set of containers to store things in, these containers can handle the job. They are easy to clean which includes being dishwasher safe. I would like to thank Modern Home Chef and affiliates for sending me these containers to try out and share my opinion.

Soba Bluetooth Headphone Review

This is an interesting set of headphones. These headphones are fairly light in weight so you do not have to worry about them bouncing and causing soreness. Upon ordering these headphones they came with extra earbud caps of different sizes, a USB to micro USB charging cable, and in instuctions manual.

Okay first feature of these headphones are the retractable earbuds. They are on pull cables so you can lay the harness around your neck and pull the earbuds out to a comfortable range. If you are going to be sitting still then you do not have to pull them out to far at all. If you are going to be rubber necking then you will probably need to pull them to the full extent or close so that way the harness does not pull them from your ears. Once you are done with your headphones for the time you can press the button on top, on each side of the harness to retact the earbuds to the harness.

Next is the sound quality of these headphones. They offer a full range of sound from bass, mid, and treble. The bass quality is a little weak but this is common for most earbuds from what I have seen. There is some bass there it is not a driving bass though. The other two ranges come in nicely and with great clarity.

When it comes to charging these headphones it is super simple. All it requires from my experience is to plug the USB port in and then the micro USB to the headphones and they beging to charge. I was able to charge them from my desktop, laptop, 110/USB adapter, car lighter socket adapter, and my backup battery charger. Once you have both ends of the charging cable plugged in a red light will come on, on the headphones. This means it is not at full charge and is charging. Once it does reach a full charge the LED light will turn blue. It took about 45 minutes for the headphones to reach full charge. From there I listened to music for a little over 3 hours before the charge in the headphones started to fade.

For pairing it is simple as well. Make sure you have the power button switched to on. From there you will see the LED light alternating from red to blue. This means it is in search mode and ready to pair. I was able to pair these headphones to my tablet and phone without any problems. It took about 5 seconds for the pair to match up and ready for use.

Next to the on/off switch there is a button with a +/- on the buttons. This controls the volume of the headphones to your device. I did push the speakers to max and at about 90% of max volume there was some distortion. There is also a button that you can use to answer your phone if you like. There is a built in mic on the harness. Hearing was excellent with these earbuds for phone calls. The mic left a lot to be desired though. I had to take the harness from around my neck and hold the mic area directly infront of my mouth or the person on the other end could not hear me unless I was yelling.

Personally I use them for when I am on road trips. Heading to my nephews games or on a trip with the casino bus tours. It is a great way to keep myself entertained other then working my Soduku book. Not to mention I can use the volume to drown out the conversations I really do not want to be a part of directly or otherwise. I have tried to use them while doing some exercises and they are not the best for that. They bounce on your collar bone and the earbuds tend to pop out very easily with a lot of body movement.

If you are looking for a unique set of headphones that are very compact, decent quality sound, easy to charge, and easy to pair. I suggest checking into this retractable headphone earbud system. I would like to thank ALLreLi Technology and affiliates for sending me these headphones to try out and share my opinion.

Christmas Candy Mold Review

This is a set of 3 silicone molds. They are designed for the holiday season. These molds are made from 100% food grade silicone so you do not have to worry about any kind of toxin transfers.

The molds come in three different sizes depending on what you are needing to do with them would be the mold you use. The first one is a Large mold shaped like houses. These work great for decoration things like cupcake mixes. Once you put the mix in and bake them you can trim the bottom off to make them flat. This way the house sets upright properly. From there you can decorate them like a gingerbread house. Next is a medium size mold that has 8 moldings in it. This works great for melted deserts from chocolate, caramel, or fudge. While your mix is still warm and able to be poured, pour your melted desert into it and let is stand to harden. Remove from tray and enjoy. Lastly is a small set of molds great for making things like hard candy. This small mold has 12 spots for making your holiday candies.

The molds are very easy to take care of and clean. They are silicone which means they are very non-stick. So cleaning them is super simple with some warm water and soap. They are silicone so you can put them in the dishwasher if you want for cleaning. From there it is making sure they are dried completely before putting them up. The molds also come with a preformed hole so you can hang them on a peg board or something similar for storage when you are done.

If you are looking for a nice set of Christmas season molds these are great. They have designes from houses, stockings, candy canes, and much more. They are super easy to use and very durable because they are silicone. I reommend picking up a set if you are a baker and like to be decrotive with your seasonal designs. I would like to thank Status Products and affiliates for sending me these silicone molds to try out and share my opinion.

Emergency Car Kit Review

This looks like an odd looking flashlight. It is so much more then your ordinary flashlight though. It has tons of features and settings to help if you are in an emergency situation. Upon ordering this flashlight it comes with multiple adapter cables, instructions manual, a fairly nice box to store it in, and of course the flashlight.

I will start with the flashlight function. For the flashlight to come on you have to press and hold the power button for a few seconds. You have to do the same to turn the light off as well. Now you can click the power button and it will do burst strobe lights of about 5 flashes and pauses and continues the cycle. Then if you press the button quickly one more time it will put it into a continuous strobe function. The last thing you can do with the light function is pressing the button quickly 2 times in a row while the power is off. This will start the red LED strobe effect. The light of the flashlight is fairly bright and will light up a good 40 feet or so in front of you so you can see what is coming ahead on your path. These are all LED lights so they will last for a very long time, usually 50,000 hours or more as a general gauge.

The first adapter I will go over is the USB cable. It has a multi device plug on 4 different wires. This attaches to the bottom of the flashlight under neath a rubber cover plate. It plugs in like any other USB cable. This is super easy to use, it requires plugging into the USB port on the flashlight and then matching the correct plug for your device.

Next is the DC adapters. There are 3 total types of DC adapters included in this kit. First is the one that plugs into your flashlight on the DC in side(labeled on the cover) to charge the flashlight. This is a standard charging cable that plugs into your 110 outlet and then into the flashlight. Next is the car adapter that plugs into a lighter plug. This is for charing the device as well and very simple to hook up as well. This requires plugging it into a car lighter socket and then into the DC in side to charge the flashlight. The last adapter is really unique on how it works. This one is designed to work in the DC out(labeled on cover). This makes it where you can power a laptop if you need to. This is a cable that is about 10 inches long. This cable comes with a set of power plug adapters for almost any type of laptop power plug slot. There are 8 plug adapter included with this kit, these work much like the universal kits for power supplies you find at most stores.

The last adpater is for jump starting your vehicle. There are a set of steps you are to follow when using this adapter. These steps are detailed in the instuctions manual. This adapter plugs into the base of the flashlight under a rubber cover. On this cover it shows a picture of a car(this plugs here), it says USB, and on/off on this cover. It was fate for me when I got this flashlight sadly. I no more then got this flashlight and the following weekend my battery died. I used this to get my truck up and moving towards O-Reilly's. This is not the super boost you get from your normal jumper boxes so if you have a draging starter it might affect the results.

This flahslight has a 10,000 Mah battery. I am able to charge my phone, tablet, Bluetooth earbuds, and Bluetooth speakers from the USB adapter plug in the bottom of the flashlight. I have not tested the DC out for my laptop at this time but I am guessing it will get about 15 minutes of time before depleting is reserve in the flashlight. I was able to jump my truck with the adapter without any problems at all, and it did not show any drop in the charge in the flahslight afterwards which was great. I was thinking jumping a battery would be a one and done thing. I am very happy that it will jump more then once per charge incase the vehicle goes dead on your way in.

The fucntion to change between the amount of volts and amps are controlled through the power button as well. Pressing the button once turns the power on. Directly above the power button is the scale showing what voltage setting you have the flashlight in. Once it is turned on it will go back to the last setting you had for your voltage output. Now to change the settings between 12, 16, and 19V is done by pressing the power button quickly and releasing it.

For all of this to work there is an on/off switch located underneath the rubber cover at the base of the flashlight. The light will not function as long as it is in the off position. If you are going to be storing this for a long period of time it is recommended to make sure it is in the off position. I keep mine in my truck box located in the bed of my truck in the off position. It also says do not keep this in an extremely hot area or extended direct sunlight because it could damage the battery.

The best thing about this is you can charge it almost anywhere. It is very light weight and compact making its portability very easy. The flashlight weights in about a pound. The flahslight is about 2 1/2 inches in diameter and about 8 inches in length. The box that this kit came in is about 6 inches by 9 inches and holds the flashlight and all adapters in it without any problems.

If you are looking for a very verasitile emergency kit for your car, boat, truck, or even motorcycle I recommend checking into this kit for sure. It is portable, light weight, can charge almost any device, has a decent size batery capacity, and able to jump start a vehicle. I would like to thank Bestworld and affiliates for sending me this emergency kit to try out and share my opinion.

RAVPower Portable Charger Review

This is a very nice portable back up charger. It does only come in black which I am more then fine with. It is much more heavy in weight then most of the battery back up charger. It is very easy to use and charge. Upon ordering this unit it came with the charger, 2 USB to Micro USB charging cables, a carrying case, and an instructions manual.

This is one of the largest portable back up chargers I have been able to try out. It is rated at 26800 where most are a little over 10000.  This unit is modle number RP-PB41. There are 3 charging ports to attach your devices to for charging. There is also one in slot for recharging the battery. All three of these ports are smart ports. This means it will detect what the maximum charge your device can handle and charge at that pace. These 3 slots are 1.0A, 2.1A, and 2.4A slots. On the top of the unit is a set of 4 blue lights that tell you where it is setting at for a charge.

It took about 90 minutes for it to charge fully for me on the initial charge. It does get a little warm when it is charging but not bad at all. It can also warm up some when you have devices plugged into it for a long time but the warmth is to be expected on any device moving electrical currents for a lengthy time. On one full charge I was able to recharge 4 cell phones, my tablet 2 times, and my wireless ear buds 7 times. It was still showing about half charge by the light indicators.

I was able to charge this unit from my desktop, laptop, 110/USB adapter plug, and from my adapter that plugs into my lighter socket in the car. All of them show charging when I attached them. The top indicator light will pulse showing that it is charging. I was able to recharge 5 different phones, 2 differnt tablets, a set of portable speakers, and my wireless ear buds without any problem from any of the 3 slots. I was able to charge multiple items at the same time without any problems at all. I hooked up 3 phones, 2 phones + a tablet, 2 tablets + a phone, and a tablet, phone and headphones in any of the slots without any issues. I am fairly convinced you can charge any device that attaches to a USB port wihtout any problem what so ever. Also as far as I can tell it can take charge from any source that has a USB slot.

If you are looking for an outstanding portable backup battery charger, this is one I recommend. It offers 3 ports for charging, smart charging, and an extrememly large capacity. I would like to thank RAVPower and affiliates for sending me this amazing chager to try out and share my opinion.
