This is a wireless mouse offered from Acctrend. The mouse requires 2 AAA batteries to operate (not included). This is a 6 buttons in all mouse. This is an optical mouse so it will work on a lot of different surfaces. This mouse does work with many different operating systems from XP to Win8. It will not function with Windows 10.
To start with the buttons of the mouse. The normal right, left, and scroll wheel clicks for a typical mouse. On the side of the mouse there are 2 buttons to control things like forwards and back words as you are surfing. These buttons are only designed for the right hand thumb control. Last on top there is a DPI button.
The DPI of the mouse is how quickly the mouse reacts to the movement. The higher the DPI the faster the mouse moves and tracks on screen as you move it. This mouse comes with 3 settings of 1000/1200/1600 for DPI settings. Having these DPI setting are a great thing for speeding up your controls. These are not very high settings so they are not the best for fast intense games. My mouse that I use on my laptop goes up to 9600 DPI for gaming purposes. Now this is a good mouse for normal activity on a pc or laptop.
Now the battery life on this mouse is not good at all. The mouse is supposed to have a battery saving function to prolong battery life. If this is working then the mouse is truly horrid on batteries. On the bottom there is a plate to remove for putting the batteries in and out. The plate is only a press fit and does not anchor with a screw. So the tabs could give after a lot of battery changes.
On the bottom is where you find the USB connector the plugs into your device for control. This plugs into the bottom of the mouse and is very easy to store there and remove. Also on the bottom is the control for the on/off power of the mouse.
If you are looking for a mouse for the daily activities on a pc or laptop this will get the job done. It does offer 3 DPI settings, wireless capabilities, and works with a lot of different systems. I would like to thank Tony and affiliates for sending me this mouse to try out and share my opinion.
