PhatMat Review

This is a set of two baking mats with an included griller mat. The PhatMat is designed for baking not grilling or open flames. These are a decent size, easy to use, simple to clean, and makes the surface non-stick.


These Phatmat's are the size of most standard cookie sheets. They will lay very flat for you and they make the surface the cookies or whatever virtually non-stick. This makes it where you no longer have to butter and/or flour the pans to help prevent sticking. I have used my PhatMat to make cookies. Worked like a dream when taking the cookies off of the sheet. There was no sticking or tearing when removing them. I have also used my mat in a cake pan for making my pineapple upside down cake. This made it a very simple process as well.


Now for care of these mats I use the tube they came in to store them in when not in use. When I clean my mat I use warm soapy water and wash the surfaces. Then I let it air dry for a few hours. Once it is dry I roll the mat and place it in the tube. The grilling mat however is a little bit different. It is a mesh type pattern and not as easy to clean. I hose it down and place it on the grill to dry and it sits there until my next use. On my next use I give it a quick rinse with the hose again and then slap it on the grill. Now this mesh type pattern makes it where the juices can drop through the mat and not sit there and burn to the meat like most griller mats.


If you are looking for a great set of mats for baking I suggest giving these mats consideration. They are easy to clean which is a huge plus, the mats offer a non-stick surface, and super easy to take care of. Ausdom Bluetooth Headphones Review

This is a set of bluetooh headphones from Ausdom, model number M05. These are stated as over the ear headphones. Upon ordering these headphones a USB to micro USB charging cable, 3.5MM straight jack cable, a mesh carrying bag, and the headphones.


The headphones are in about the middle price range for lower priced headphones. I consider that range to be 30 to 75 dollars personally. With that being said I am very happy with the quality of these headphones. They can be used to pair with almost anything that has Bluetooth capability.


I will start with the comfort of these headphones. There is a padded bar across the top where it sets on your head. The ear pieces are also padded that set against the side of the head. This padding is very soft and does not feel like a hard rubber o-ring laying against the side of your head. The ear pieces do rotate to make max comfort on each side of you head. The cross bar is adjustable which is key to making them not clamp down on the side of your head. I hate headphones that feel like they are trying to crush my head.


Now for pairing it is really simple. Start with the power off on these headphones. Hold the power button for about 10 seconds and there will be 2 LED lights alternating red to blue. This is the pairing mode. Now do a search on your device and press the connect. It is that simple to pair them. I was able to pair these headphones to 3 different tablets all with differnt operating systems, 2 cell phones, and my laptop. It took less the 20 seconds to pair these headphones to any device I tried paring them too.


Charging on these headphones is a very simple chore. All it requires is plugging the micro USB slot into the headphones and then the USB into a port that has power. I was able to charge these headphones from my laptop, desktop, battery backup charger, 110 to USB wall charger, and from the lighter plug in my car. All of these took about an hour to charge these headphones with the exception of the lighter plug. It took about an 1 1/2 to charge through light plug. On average at full charge the headphones have about a 15 hour lifespan on the battery life.


Onto the sound quality. I can not complain at all with the sound these headphones produce. The sound is very crisp and clear at any volume. I did not detect any distortion at full volume over a 30 minute span. The speakers do offer a full range of sound. All ranges are present and very clear on every type of music I tried them out on. I used Rock, Country, Hip Hop, and Alternative musics for my testing purposes.


These headphones can be used to answer call as well. I did try this out on one call. I was suprised on how clear I was able to hear the person on the other end. The mic to talk back is said to be great from any direction. I did have to speak up a bit to be heard and it did not get rid of outside noises so using this option on like a subway or bus will probably not work well. If you are running around the house and expecting a call or something along that nature they would be great. Personally I use them paired to my tablet to play my music. I put them on and go to work on cleaning the house. The specs say that they are good up to 10 meters. I noticed I could actually be more close to 20 meters before it would try to drop connection.


If you are in the market for a very nice set of Bluetooth headphones that are not going to break the bank, I recommend looking into this set. They offer easy pairing, good quality sound, crisp, clear, comfortable to wear, easy to charge, and have a decent battery life. Stadium Chairs Review

This is a foldable stadium seat designed to fit almost any kind of bleachers. It is very well constructed for long life and durability. The seat is fairly lightweight for transport. It folds down into a compact size for easy storage.


I will start with the seats lightweight and storage sizes. It is not overly heavy a little over 5 pounds in total weight. This makes it easy to carry for those long walks in huge stadiums. The chair also comes with a simple easy to carry bar. Next is the storage size of this is about 18 inches by 16 inches. Roughly about the side of a 17 inch laptop. When it is folded it is about 4 inches thick. With the frame the way it is built can be stood on end and stored in the corner of the closet, or it can slide underneath a bed. Personally I have mine tucked away under my bed where it is easy to get when I have a planned outting.


Next the design makes it work for almost any type of bleacher including both wood or metal. It is very simple to attach this to a bench. It has a swing arm that hooks under the lip of the front of the bleacher. Then there are 2 rubber pads that sit down on the top of the bleacher. That is all it takes to actually put this in place.


Now we move on to the durablity of this seat. This is not your normal retal cheap wire bleacher you can rest from most stadiums. This thing is actually built to sustane a long life. The chair frame is made with square tubing and decent sized bolts. The rubber feet are about 1/2 inch thick so they are not going to wear out quickly.


The only part of this whole unit that concerns me is the cloth part for the seating. It says it is made to withstand 400 pounds. I know it has had no issues at my weight. Now it is secured on the bottom part with a thick thread going through eyelits like what you find on a tarp. The part going over the side bar is stiched around it and the stitching does look to be very well done. This design does give it a little bit of flexability when you sit down. It does not feel like you are sitting on a piece of wood.


If you are looking for a bleacher seat for all those events you attend through the year like football, basketball, concerts, or any other event held in a stadium this appears to be a very good chose. I recommend it because of how durable it is built, how compact it is, and that is it lightweight enough for a long walk and it not becoming cumbersome.

Hidden Fire (e-book) Review

This is the second book of the series The watchers from author Dierdra Eden. This is a semi short book at a little over 200 pages on my reader. Currently it is available in e-book and paperback.


This book is written much like the first book. It does a great job of keeping your interest through out the story. The story adds a few new characters to the story line. For the most part they are not developed well, barely enough to understand their purpose. The development of Auriella further expands in this second book, still leaving some things to be found out in the continuing series.


The book could be read as a stand alone but it would leave many unanswered questions about the plot. It is a much better read if you read the first book of the series. This book is geared more for teens and young adults. Although I do not fit in the teen or young adult age group I did enjoy the book and think it is a good continuation of the series. I look forward to the next part of the story.

Padded Keyboard Bench Review

This is a small padded bench with 3 adjustments for height. It folds down into a very compact size. The stand weights in at about 5 pounds making it very easy to transport. This bench is very versatile in its uses. The bench is also built durable and will last for a long time.


To start with the bench height adjustments. They are aproximately 16", 18", and 19" in the  settings. They claim it is for a keyboard bench much like a pinao bench but I think that is just the start. I think it can be used as a chair if you are out of room around the holidays and all your family is in for dinner. I know when my nephew hurt his leg we used it as a prop to elevate his leg. We could adjust it for his comfort level easy. Not to mention it is padded so it did not hurt the leg being on it for long periods of time.


The next great thing about this bench is how compact if folds down. This makes it where you can keep it in its folded position and it will slide under most standard beds where I keep mine or in a closet.


Another benefit is how light weight it is. With it only weighing in at 5 pounds it is not cumbersome to pack around. I have also used it as a place to sit while I was out fishing. As anyone knows most good fishing spots are usually a trek to get too.


If you are in the market for a very nice adjustable bench I recommend checking into this one. It has 3 heights, padded, built to withstand up to 370 pounds, compact, and easy to store. I would like to thank Wendy and affiliates for sending me this padded bench to try out and share my opinion.

CARCHET Multi-Functional Emergency Power Bank Review

This has a starting capacity of 16800MaH battery capacity. After six months the 3 cells lose some of the topside and it stay at about 11000MaH capacity. This has a lot of different functions including being able to jump start your vehicle. Upon ordering this product it came with:


1 Power bank
2 Clamp wire
1 Four-in-one data cable
1 multi-connector adapter cable
1 Adapter cable 
1 Car charger
1 User manual
1 Carrying Case


I will start with the carrying case. It is a hard plastic case to keep all your connectors in one convenient location. It has 2 snap latches on the front to lock the case. It is compact enough to fit under a seat, a truck box, or most storage areas in the trunk of a car.


Now to the included cables. First off is the 2 clamp wire as they call it. These are the ones used to jump start your vehicle. They are fairly rigid and clamp onto the posts of a battery very well. You do not have to worry about them being bumped lightly and coming unclipped. These plug into the battery pack where the rubber cap covers with a car imprint on it. The next feature is the length of each of the ends on these 2 clamps because they are off set which makes then grounding out less likely.


Next are the adapters for charing the back up battery charger. There is a standard 110 adapter that plugs directly to the wall socket and to the battery pack. Next is one that plugs into a lighter plug of a vehicle and then into the battery pack. These are great because if you are needing to jump start your car but no one has cables, usually there is a store or place you can charge up the battery pack near. You can charge it inside a place more comfortable then the environment. Then if you are in an area where there is not an easy access wall socket you can use the one that plugs into a lighter socket of someone that is around that has a vehicle if they do not have standard jumper cables to help you out.


Then there is the 4 in 1 data cable. This can be used to charge almost any device you are needing. I was able to test this cable out on a few products I have around the house. It was able to charge 2 cellphones (I-Phone, Droid), my tablet, my earbuds, and Bluetooth speaker to mention a few. I did charge my phone 2x, tablet 2x, earbuds 3x, and bluetooth speaker 1x and this left the battery at 69%.


Next is the 6 inch cable used for powering things like laptops. You plug this short cable into the battery pack. Then there is a selection of 8 tips you can use to adapt to fit your laptop power plug. Once you have your correct adapter in place you plug it into you laptop to power it. This is a fairly hard drain on the battery pack. I was only able to power the laptop for about 15 minutes. That however gives enough time for anyone to get a message or check for an important incoming message.


Now for the battery pack. It comes with a capacity of 16800MaH at max. However after 6 months the batteris lose about 1/3 of their top holding power and makes the capacity more closer to 11000MaH for the rest of the life of the unit. When looking at the front of the unit, on the left side of the unit is where the flashlight and jumper plug for jump starting your car. The flashlight is supposed to come on when hold the power button for 3 seconds. I have never been able to get the flashlight to power up though. Possibly flawed in assembly, do not know, and I am asking the company about this. Moving to the front of the device and starting from the left we have the LCD screen. When you press the power button it will display the amount of charge the battery currently has. Next going aross to the right is the DC power out. This is where the laptop or other DC unit you are needing to power plugs in at.  To the right of that is the power button that gives your battery read out and control on the flashlight. To the right of the power button are 2 USB ports for charging your devices.  Both of these ports are 5.0V/2.1A so they do charge devices fairly quick. TO the right of that is the DC in plug. This is where you plug in to charge the battery unit. Laslty to the right is the on/off button. The unit does nothing in the off position. Only makes since!


I was able to test charging the unit with both adapters. I had no issues with the plug to the 110 wall socket or the car adapter. The one from the wall took about 1 1/2 hours to charge the battery pack. Charging it with the lighter socket of the car took about 4 hours though. It was much slower but it did get the charge completed. I have not tested the ability of this to jump a vehicle yet. Thankfully I have not been subject to that issue though. However it goes over the directions to properly jump a vehicle with this. I do not recommend going outside of the directions because it could harm the battery unit.


If you are looking for a multi functional tool that can supply power to a lot of devices this is one you most certainly need to consider and I recommend. It can charge a multitude of devices, jump start your car, has a flashlight, and can even power a laptop. Bluetooth Headset Review

This is an around the ear Bluetooth headset. It is universal for left or right ear depending on your preference. Upon ordering this unit it came with the ear piece, USB to micro USB charging cable, 2 additional garments for inside the ear, 110 to 2 port USB charging adapter, an owner's manual, and a users manual.


To start with this device allows you to pair to 2 different devices at one time. I tried this out with my cell phone and tablet. I used the ear piece to answer a couple of phone calls and I used my tablet to play music. It was very simple to pair the headset with each device. It only took a matter of seconds for each to pair to the headset. When it is in pairing mode there is a small LED light that flashes between green and red. Once your device is paired the light goes to green only from what I could tell.


It takes about 1 1/2 hours to charge the headset to full charge. I was able to get it to charge from the 110 to USB adapter, laptop USB port, Desktop USB port, back up battery charger, and from my lighter to USB adapter in my car. All seemed to charge the device with out any issues.


Now for the length of the charge. First I paired to my phone only. The headset would maintain a charge for about 3 days for me on using it for only phone calls. I get 5 to 10 phone calls a day on average and most last about 15 minutes. Next I paired it to my tablet only. I put it in play music mode and hit my playlist to repeat entire list. The battery on the 3 times I did this with music only playing full time was about 5 1/2 hours. So it does have a decent length of battery life.


The headset offers the ability to go over either ear depending on the users needs. The earbud will twist around in the direction needed. The mic will also rotate up to 200 degrees making it optimal for either ear.


The sound quality of the headset is not bad. It does offer a full range of sound. The sound is also very clear when you have it paired for incoming sounds from your device. Phone calls are very crisp and clear. Now the mic is a bit less then I had hoped for though. It is not nearly as sensitive to the user as I like. It also does not do the best at omitting the outside sounds from your voice. So it can be a bit of a problem for the people on the other end. I also have to raise my voice a fair amount for the mic to pick me up which can be a bad thing in a public area.


If you are looking for a very nice ear piece that can pair to 2 devices this is one you should consider. It has quality sound, easy to pair, pair multiple devices, has a decent battery charge life, and easy to charge. Multifunction Microfiber Cleaning Cloth Review

This is a set of 5 microfiger cleaning cloths. They are about the size of a standard wash cloth used for doing dishes. These cloths are blue with a diamond pattern on them. They are mircofiber so I am a fan from the start.


This set of cloth towels are designed for cleaning almost any smooth surface. Personally I have used them on my mirrors, kitchen appliances, counter tops, computer monitors, and television screens to mention a few. You do not use harsh chemicals with these towels or it will ruin them. It is best to use water and maybe a very small amount of dish soap.


Care for these towels are like any other microfiber towel. DO not use bleach or fabric softener when you wash them. Try and make the load only microfiber towels to prevent lint attaching to them. I use a delicates bag for under garments when machine washing mine.

Slim Sleeper Memory Foam Review

This is one of the best pillows I have ever had. It is a slim designed pillow. The pillow is memory foam so it does not lose its shape after using for a few minutes. This is the first pillow I have ever had that came with its own carrying case.


To start with this pillow is a slim sleeper. I have spent most of my life sleeping without pillows for the most part. Most pillows are to bulky and tend to put a lot of pressure on my neck. This makes for a poor nights sleep and I found I was better off with out a pillow in most cases. This pillow being only 3 inches thick is about 1/2 of what a normal pillow and so much more comfortable for me.


Next thing this pillow is made from Memory Foam. This makes it stay much more rigid all night and not create sinking or sagging of the head during your sleep. The memory foam cups gently around your head. There is usually about a half inch cup with my head on it. When I wake up my head is at the same depth it started out. Which is a HUGE plus.


The only thing I do not like about the pillow is it makes my head hot. It was fairly simple to get around this will a really good pillow case. Now for the carrying bag. I have never seen a pillow come with a carrying handled bag before. It does make it where you can hang it in a closet in the guest bedroom and pull them out as needed to preserve the life of the pillows.

Pocket Microscope Review

This is a small microscope that comes in a case that is about 2 inches x 4 inches x 1 inch in size. It offers 2 LED light sources. The microscope also has 60x to 100x magnification. Upon ordering this it came with a carrying case, the microscope, and a set of instructions.


To start with the light sources this can project in the times of low lighting situation. First of course is your typical LED light and the other is a UV light. Since they are LED you do not have to worry about them burning out anytime soon. Usual shelf life to my knowledge is 30,000 hours or more. There is a slide bar on the side of the unit that controls these lights. In the middle of the 3 setting is the off. The UV and light are on either side of the off setting. It is a simple slide to the right or left to chose which light you need.


Next is the magnification of this pocket scope. It has a turn dial on the side of the unit for adjusting the magnification. It is a round knob that turns like the hands of a clock. The scope will magnify 60x to 100x. There is a second turn knob located below the magnification knob. This second knob is your focus for fine tuning what you are trying to look at. It works on the same function of turning like clock hands to adjust. The scope also comes with a rubber eye cup to make it more comfortable to use.


It is a very compact scope to say the least. It will fit easily in a shirt pocket. Total weight of this is only a few ounces so it is not going to feel like it is pulling the collar of your shirt through your neck. The carrying case included with this is actually very nice. It is a semi soft shelled case that closes with a zipper. The zipper on this case is the only thing that I can say is sub-par. It could possible give problems after extended use because it is a low grade.


If you are looking for a very compact microscope to have on hand for looking at things like very small print on a circuit board for instance this is a tool to most certainly consider. I would like to thank Wendy and affiliates for sending me this pocket microscope to try out and share my opinion.

Dot Sight Review

This is a spot guage mainly for aiming weapons. It is fairly compact, lightweight, and easy to install. Upon ordering this Ohuhu scope it came with the scope, lens cap, lens cleaning cloth, battery, allen wrench, and instructions manual.


First off we start with the installation of the sight. Always read the instructions first even though this is a very simple install. Now to mount it you have a bolt going through the base of the scope that has an allen head. Basically you adjust the allen bolt out until you can slide the clamping part to the top of what you are mounting it to. Now tighten down the allen until it is a snug fit and the installation is done.


Now comes the adjustments for the lazer light scope. First thing is to put the battery in the unit. It was included in my package. This is a flat battery much like a watch battery only a bit larger.  There is a screw on cap for the battery that has a slot for a coin or similar to twist it off. When you place the battery in the scope make sure that the seal is not damaged, if it is replace it so the scope does not lose its water resistance. Now once you have the battery in place you can start setting up the scope light how you want. Now you decide if you want it to be a green or red light. There are 5 settings for each of the colors 1-5. The smaller the number the lighter and smaller the dot is in the scope. Now that you have chose your selections on the sight marker fire a test round to see how accurate it is. There are 2 twist off caps with adjustments for the sight. They will move the sight up/down and right/left as you twist them. This makes it super easy to get it adjusted accurately. Once you have it adjusted you can then put the caps back on and you are set for your next outting. The scope light will stay on until you move the dial to the G or R. Then it will power down and you do not drain the battery needlessly.


This scope works well for almost any rifle or handgun. However it is not capable of taking huge recoil rounds well. It will knock out of alignment after about 5 shots on heavy recoil weapons. Although I have not blown the guts out of the scope with heavy recoil shots at this point. I have only had to readjust the alignment.


If you are looking for a decent sight scope for a firearm or maybe even a survey type of view this one will most certainly get the job done. Car Air Purifier Review

This is a handy device for traveling or the likes. It is an air purifier/ionizer that plugs into your lighter socket of your vehicle. Upon ordering this unit it came in a metal case with a see through lid, the device, and an instructions page.


To my suprise it does actually work. To me when there is a purifier/ionizer working it makes the air seem stale to me. I Most certainly noticed the air going stale in a few short minutes after being plugged in.


The best uses I have come to find this used for are people who do a lot of traveling in vehicles. Someone like truck drivers, cab drivers, or maybe even travelling sales persons. There are limited uses with this for short distances. If you are not going more then 15 minutes one way this will most like not get the entire cab purified.


When you do plug it into a lighter socket in your vehicle there is a blue led light that poweres up to show it has a connection. If there is no connection to power it will not light up. I was able to test this device in a standard 4 door sedan, truck with and extended cab, and the sleeper birth of a Semi. The larger the area of course the longer it took to make the entire cab purified.


If you are looking for a way to purify the air in the vehicle you are traveling in this is a great unit to pick up. It is light weight and very compact, about the size of a small flash light. Killer Pursuit: An Allison McNeil Thriller Book Review

This is the second book I have read in the Allison McNeil series from author Jeff Gunhus. Currently it is available for e-readers and paperback. It is a decent length book at a little over 300 pages.


This is an extremely well written story. Out of all the new authors to hit the market I put Jeff Gunhus in the top 5% of the best out there. With in the first 5 pages of this book I was already to the point of not wanting to put it down. He has a flair for getting his readers attention and then building on that throughout the entire book.


I am not sure the books actually go through a full editorial process before printing because there are some incorrectly spelled words in the book. Needless to say that is the only thing that could be mentioned about this author's books in a negative manner.


The story is based on an FBI agent with the ability to think outside of the box. There is some sexual scenes in this book, mainly at the start. The story is very descriptive with details. You are never lost for what is happening in the book. I like how it is carefully detailed to make it move very smoothly without making the book dull.


If you are looking for a great thriller/suspense book or your favorite genre of book you certainly need to add this to the must read list. Handheld Magnifier Review

This is a set of 3 magnifying lens that attach to a handle. It offers lighting for your reading area. This is much like the old wand magnifying glasses. It is about 6 inches in total length with the larger lens attached. Upon orderting this set it came with the 3 lens and the handle.


To start with the magnification of the 3 lenses are 2.5x, 5x, and 16x. So this makes it very handy for the older folks with reading issues with vision because you can put which lens works best for your condition in place quick and easy. This can be used to look at jewlery when it comes to things like notes on the inside of ring bands.


Changing out the lenses is very simple. It has 2 tabs to depress on the sides of the handle. This releases the lens and you gently pull the lens out. Now you can click in the lens you need for your project at hand. Now there are 2 LED lights on the bottom side of the handle. These are turned on/off with a push switch on the top of the handle. The hardest part of this entire unit was putting the batteries in. It is a simple concept but the batteries are so sloppy in the handle. If you can get the batteries to stay in place long enough to get the battery cover back on, it locks the batteries in place very snuggly.

Silicone Ice Cube Tray (Twin Pack) Review

This is a cool pair of silicone ice trays. They are very easy to use, take care of, and clean. They are food grade quality silicone. My set came with one blue and one green ice cube tray.


I like the silicone ice cube trays in general. You do have to take care and not leave the ice in the trays for to long of a film will build on top of the ice. The film is harmless but very annoying. I have a bowl I put my ice in once it is frozen and refill my trays and use the process. Another thing that I did when I first got my set of trays was boil them for about 10 minutes two times in fresh pans of water. I do not notice ice film after doing this unless the cubes have been in the freezer longer then a week.


These are silicone so there unlimited uses for these trays. They can be used to make sliders, jello shots, pop cycles, or even in a microwave making a brownie mix in small cubes. The ice cubes are very easy to remove from the trays as well. My mother can pop them out even when her hands are really hurting her. Unlike the 2 inch cubes trays I have which she can barely get out when she is in prime form for her age.


If you are looking for a nice set of silicone trays with many uses I consider checking these out. They are easy to take care, decent quality, easy to get the ice cubes out of the trays, and will last for a very long time.
