Mini 300Mbps WiFi USB Review

This is a USB dongle for setting up devices for Wifi that do not have that luxury. It is an N rating USB dongle. It is very easy to set up, very compatable, and decent range. It is USB 2.0 capatable and works with 802.11/b/g/n.

Personally I use this on my second desktop to eliminate more cords. It is really easy to set up. It is pretty much plug and play. You plug the dongle in and it pops a window to download the drivers. You then download the drivers and install them. Once this is done it is ready to go. I have also used it in my laptop for better range. Anyone who has a laptop knows they have good Wifi but the range is usually very short. This USB dongle effectivily doubles my search range.

This is a 2.4 GHz wireless dongle. The new ones are 5 GHz. That is not really needed unless you are playing a very graphic intensive game. I know I have been able to play most games I have loaded with this USB dongle. One of those being Everquest and it has never balked at that. Now you will not be able to stream with this at 2.4 GHz but you could not do that well even with a 5 GHz. In cases like that it is still better to go hard wire since most cable companies now offer 10GHz for streaming.

The USB dongle is very compact it is about an inch square and about 1/2 in thickness once plugged in. It does not have any of those funky antennas sticking up in the way which is very nice. If you are looking for a decent low priced dongle to add wireless or extend your wireless range this is one you need to consider. I would like to thank Shenzhen actionfly technology company and affiliates for sending me this USB wireless dongle to try out and share my opinion.

Portable Charger Review

This is your standard portable backup battery charger. This is from  Key modle number KP-PB030A. It comes with a few extras like smart charging technology and a flashlight. Upon ordering this charger it comes with a USB to Micro USB charging cable and an instructions manual. Currently this power bank comes in pink and black for color choices.

To start with it is a 3000Mah capacity rechargeable battery. This is not a huge power bank but it will work to charge a cell phone a couple of times before it is drained. If you are looking for a compact battery charger so you do not have to be leashed to a wall this can help with that.

Now for charging this unit. It is very simple. All it requires is a powered USB port and a charging cable. You plug the cable into the power bank Micro USB slot. Next you plug the USB side into the powered USB port and it will start recharging your the power bank.

For charging of devices it is just as simple. You plug into the USB port of the backup power charger with the charging cable. Then plug the Micro USB into your device and it will start charging the device. If you have an apple type device you will need to use the lightning cord that uses a USB port to charge. It will charge those devices as well.

Next is the flashlight. It is fairly bright at 170 lumens. I do not know the difference in Lumens unless it is a huge difference other then by how far I can see with the beam. I was able to see 40 to 50 feet pretty clearly at what I had the torch aimed at. This light does not have the standard button to turn the light on. This is a twist type to turn on the light. Twist it to the right to turn the light off and to the left to power it up.

There are 2 ports on this device for charging. The USB port for charging your devices and the micro USB port to recharge the backup battery charger. With it having a limited power bank it does not need to offer any more ports then that. I was able to recharge my cellphone, partial charge on my tablet, my earbuds, and my Bluetooth speaker. I was able to charge this power bank from my laptop, desktop, 110 to USB adapter, and my socket adapter in my car. It only takes about 30 to 45 minutes to recharge this depending on the source. These ports also offer smart charging tech. This is where it detects the maximum speed your device can be charged at and charge at that pace. It also prevents over charging and discharging.

If you are looking for a rechargeable flashlight or a compact power bank this is one to consider. It is small enough to go into your pocket and not feel like you are lugging around rocks. The light is pretty bright for its compact size. The lights are also LED so they will hvae a long life. It is also very easy to use when charging a device or the flashlight. I would like to thank Tii Trading inc and affiliates for sending me this backup battery charger flashlight combo to try out and share my opinion.

Tire Pressure Gauge Kit Review

This is kit includes the tire guage, 4 valve stem caps, and a tread guage. The tire guage offers a large easy to read scale when checking your pressure. The tread guage is also very easy and accurate for tread depth.

To start with the tire guage has a round scale dial much like the face of clock. I have found this so much better to read then the old push out sticks. I do not have to be super careful to not bump it and have to retake the tire pressure a half dozen times. The tire guage can take pressure tests up to 160 PSI. This will take the tire pressure of most tires. I know I use my around the house for my 1 ton, Toyota Corolla, fifth wheel, and the kids sonoma. I have no problems at all reading out eash of the tire pressures on the vehicles. I know that keeping  the tires properly inflated does help with gas mileage.

The tire guage is nice design in how well it fits into my hand. It also has a thin rubber coating that looks kind of like a tire around it. This is very nice on those cold days because it is not an ice cube in my hand. The shaft that goes to the valve is made from brass and offers a 360 degree swivel.  If you pull the rubber coating away from the face you can see that it is made from metal and brass only. This meant it will be much more durable and last a lot longer.  The swivel head is also replaceable on this guage if yours has an issue in the life of it. You could possible get a flexible extending hose to put on the end of it with this design as well. It is something I am considering for this guage when I check the tire pressure on the inside dual on the one ton.

To check tires pressures with this guage is really simple. You take the valve stem cap off of the valve. Next you press the air chuck end on to the valve stem. Then you depress it onto the valve and it will give you a read out. If the tire pressure is to high there is a bleeder button to reduce the air pressure. It takes me longer remove the valve cap then to get the tire pressure with this gauge.

Next is the tread guage. It is a very simple plunger method for checking the depth. It is super easy to see where your tread depth is at. There is a flat plastic are on the base of the plunger. Make sure this is setting flat on the tire. Next press the plunger down and a small metal rod will extend out. Make sure this is in between the grooves of the tread. Now press the top of the plunger down until it stops. You can easily read if the tire is in the greeen, yellow, or red sections of the tire guage. There are numbers telling the actual depth but I do not need to know all that. All I check for it is to see if it is in the green. If the tire depth is at the yellow on the guage I know it is time to get it in to be changed.

If you are looking for a very nice tire pressure guage for almost any type of tire this is one you should consider. It is built durable enough that it could even be used in commercial applications. It is compact enough to easily fit into any glove box of a vehicle. The rubber housing protects it from small impact drops if those occur to some degree. It will read pressures up to 160 PSI where most on the market will only go to about 60 PSI. I would like to thank Kittco Products and affiliates for sending me this tire guage kit to try out and share my opinion.

Spy Pen Camera Review

This is a camera shaped like an ink pen. It has 720p resolution for the camera. It is a little larger then the average pen but it is still really hidden well. Upon ordering this spy pen it comes with the pen, a USB extention cable, an SD card, ink refills, and an instructions manual.
To start with the instructions manual is pretty much difficult. It does not give very good directions on changing modes or almost anything to do with the pen. It will however make it where you can do some of the functions with what it does provide.

I was fairly suprised at how well this spy pen works. It has a much better picture and camera quality then I would have ever thought. The cool part is being able to use it as a digital camera. The hardest part is figuring out the mode you are in and what mode you need to be in. It takes a little bit of tinkering to get it figured out. Now the sound quality is fair. It is not great but it is enough that you can make every thing out clearly.

Now It says in the description that it comes with a 16 GD SD card. Mine had only an 8 GB SD card. There was also a claim of 5 ink refills included in the package. This again was incorrect, there were only 3 in my case.

I do like how compact the pen is. It is a bit larger then a regular ink pen in diameter. Not so much that it will draw attention to it in a way that would be noticed. The camera hole is very small and near tht top of the pocket clip. This hides if very well. There is also to other smaller holes along the side of the pen. One is for a reset on the camera and the other one is an indicator light.

Charging the pen is super easy. All you have to do is unscrew the pen from the middle and you will expose the USB plug in adapter already built into the pen. This is also where the SD card is mounted and where you change the mode on the camera. This is simple a simple plug into a USB port that is powered and it will charge. I was able to use my laptop, desktop, and 110 to USB socket adapter to charge the ink pen.

If you are looking for a way to spy on your surroundings with out being noticed directly this is a device that can get the job done. It is compact, fairly easy to use once figured out, has decent video and sound, can be used as a webcam, and will handle about 20 minutes of video or a ton of pics.
