This being my first portable battery charger/backup to own. I am thinking this may be the Cadillac of chargers. It is nicely designed to fit in a shirt pocket. It is flat in design unlike most that are a block and awkward to carry in a shirt pocket. It has 2 usb out ports to power 2 items if needed at once. This device adds hours of power to your device. On the face of the device it has a lighted scale to let you know the how much power is left in the charger. As far as the recharging of this it is super easy, I have used a usb port attached to an electrical outlet, usb port on my desktop tower, and the usb port of my laptop. It comes with a multi port adapter to plug into almost any phone or tablet.

I use this charger to power my tablet. While I am out and about I have my music player going on my tablet and we know how draining that can be. This adds so much more time when attached to my tablet for my music listening. I can not take a long boring road trip with the family and plug in my ears for a lot longer time! It really helps avoid the kids crying are we there yet. My nephew has attached his smartphone to it as well to try it out and it powered it nicely as well. I can not wait to test this out at the lake this summer. I have a usb connector to my car that I can use to recharge this to make sure I can stay connected.
