Okay for starters when it comes to medical things like this I always to take them to my doctors office and the nurses are more then happy to try them out for accuracy for me. This unit performed well it was with in 5 on the blood pressure. Granted that is not 100% accurate but it is certainly enough to see if there is a issue going on. It is also enough to keep a record of your blood pressure. It is like any other scale, the best and most accurate way to know if there is change is to use the same scale for each reading. This being one of the least expensive monitors I have seen on the market and being close on the readings makes it a really good blood pressure monitor.
Now for the unit, when you order it you get the display panel, blood pressure cuff, carrying case, and an instructions manual. This unit is not as light weight as other units I have seen but it is still well within the range of being very portable. It is compact enough to go into almost any luggage or travel bags. The carrying case offers a handle as well to make it even easier to transport.
I really like this cuff. I like how this one has mapped directions on the cuff on how to apply it properly. Most people do not know the actual steps to putting this on correctly and do not get the most accurate readings. The cuff comes in the adult size which surprisingly was barely enough to fit around my arm. I usually require x-large cuffs for my blood pressure readings.
The LCD display is very nice as well. It has a backlit screen that makes it very easy to read. The numbers are also very large in size making it even more easy to get your readings. The display unit also offers a memory function that can record up to 90 readings. It is only designed for only one user in the memory function. This unit is powered from 4 AA batteries (not included). The display also offers date, time, and your pulse.
