Samurai Kendama Review

They call this a kids toy but I think it is a lot more then that. It is a great tool to increase hand eye coordination. It will also teach the user how to catch things with a soft touch even though nothing about either piece is soft.

The Kendama has 4 different levels of difficulty for catching the ball. There is one on either side of the toy, each being different size cups for catching the ball in. The third is the one at the bottom of the handle is the next cup for catching which is the smaller cup. Lastly is catching the ball on the spike. With out a doubt the most difficult.

After hours of play we have finally started to catch the ball often now. It does require a soft touch and massive hand eye skill to get the ball to land in the cup. The only thing that I have seen from this paticular Kendama is the paint does start to chip after prolonged use. It does not affect the use of the game, only the appearance.

If you are looking to join the Kendama world of games this unit will perform well for you. I would like to thank Coco Joy and affiliates for sending me this Kendama to try out and leave my opinion.
