Birds-I-View Review

This is a see through plastic bird feeder that attaches to windows or other smooth surfaces. When I orded this bird feeder from Nature Anywhere it came with the house, slide out feed tray, 3 suction cups, and a booklet.

The feeder is made from a fairly durable plastic so it will not break easily. The slide out tray is very rigid and strong which is great since I have dropped it about a dozen times already. The plastic is see through so it has high visiblity of all that is going on inside the house. This makes it great for being able to watch your feathered friends and make sure they are not out of food.

The feed tray slides in and out of the bottom of the house. It can be kind of sticky going in because it is fairly tight fitting. The tray has a divider in the middle for putting in two different types of feed if you choose too. The trays aslo has very small pin holes in the bottom of it so rain water can drain from the tray and not wash the food away. These pin holes do get plugged quickly so you will need to spray it clean often.

Setting up the feeder is super easy. First thing I did after taking it out of the box and read the instruction given on best placement for the feeder. From there I put the 3 suction cups in the slide tab slots on the back of the feeder. I inserted the feed tray into the feeder. From there I took it out side with my windex and paper towels. I washed the window very well to make sure there was a nice clean suction surface for the cups. Next I placed it the window and pressed the suction cup tabs from inside the feeder towards the window. From there I went to the store and picked up a small back of bird feed, since all I had was hummingbird feed. I placed some food in the tray and it was complete.

They say in the book that it can take birds up to 5 weeks to trust a new feeder. That was not the case with my feeder experience. When I got back from the store there was already a bird sitting in it with out any feed in it! I put the feed in there and it took the bird a couple of hours to make its way to the feeder again since it was scared off when I went to put feed in it. If you are having issues with being able to watch your birds then you can use a webcam mounted to view out the window and close the blind and the motions in the house will not scare the birds off and you can watch them on your computer.

If you are looking for a way to be a little closer to nature without disturbing it, this bird house feeder is most certainly what you are looking for. It is durable, easy to install, and easy to clean. I would like to thank Nature Anywhere and affiliates for sending me this bird feeder to try out and share my opinion.
