Ombir Pro Multitool Review

This is much like your standard leatherman tool. This is a lower priced option that offers almost as good if not as good of an option for a multi-tool. Upon ordering this  tool from Vodiy it came with a carrying case that attaches to a belt, the multi-tool, and a small set of screwdriver tips.

To start with it is a pair of pliers with spring action. These are not completely needle nose pliers but they are fairly close. Inside it does have a nice set of teeth to grip and hold on to your project. There are many tools that can fold out from the handles. Some of these are a mini saw, file, knife, a 1/4 square head for a socket, and many more. The 1/4 square is used for the bits that were included in the kit. They are the most common allen, straight blade, and phillips tips. This can also work as a 1/4 nut runner without the tips being put into it.

When you are using the pliers part of the unit your hand will be on the outside where the multi-tools roll out. This is not the most comfortable grip if you are having to use a lot of pressure. When the pliers are flipped in and the tools are facing inward it has a much better grip surface for which ever flip out tool you are using. Like any other multi-tool when you first get it, the tools do not move out very easy at all but will loosen up after some use.

The tool pouch that it comes with is built to be very durable. The material is very thick to withstand hooking on stuff and not tearing up. The stitching is very strong and very thick. The snap button that goes over the top of the tool to cover seems to be attached firmly as well. The strap that hooks through the belt is attached extremely well at the top and only so-so on the bottom, the only weak spot I can see from the case. On the back side of the case next to the body is a pocket designed to hold the tips that are in a plastic sleeve.

If you are looking for a multi-tool this is for sure one to consider. It offers a great array of tools, it appears to be built very solid, weights under a pound in total weight. I would like to thank Vodiy and affiliates for sending me this multi-tool to try out and share my opinion.
