Emergency light Review

The product description of this light is an emergency light. To me it is more of a utility light. It is not the brightest light you can find but if you are without light it is great to have around. It has a nice hook area so it can be hung inside of a tent to light up the night for you. It is also very light weight and fairly durable being made with a semi strong plastic housing.

I put this thing through some tests to see what all it can be powered by. I attached it to my laptop, desktop, backup battery charger, wall mount USB charging port, and a lighter socket in my car. The light came on without fail in each and every charge port. This light comes with a decent length of cord about 5 feet. On this cord there is an on/off toggle so you do not have to keep plugging and unplugging the light.

When it comes to how bright of a light this puts out, it is equal to a 40W bulb. It is not extremely bright but if you are out camping and it is your only light source in a tent it is great. I personally got to test it when my battery cable got lose on my car one night. My car died and I went to lift the hood of the car and no light came on because of the lose of connection. I used my emergency light hooked to my backup battery charger and hung it from the hood. I was able to see clearly and look around to see what the issue was. I then attached the battery cable as best I could since it was having real issues, but I was able to make it to the store. From there I got a new termenal end and replaced it using my light.

If you are looking for a portable and handy utility light or emergency light source, this can most certainly fit the bill. I would like to thank Mc and affiliates for sending me this light to try out and share my opinion.
