FSL Reflex Bluetooth Earbuds Review

This is a good set of bluetooth earbuds. The contents that came in my box was the earbuds, a case for the earbuds, micro USB charging cable, 2 other sets of rubber tips, and an insturctions manual.

To start with charging the earbuds. I was able to charge the earbuds from my laptop USB port, desktop USB port, lighter socket in my car, my wall mount USB charger, and from my portable battery backup charger. From what I have found out so far it can be charged from any USB port without any issues. The first initial charge it should be charged for about 2 hours. Upon charging there is a red light that comes on and stays solid until the charging is complete. Once the charging is complete there will be a solid blue light. After the first initial charge it does not take as long to get it to  full charge again, usually about 30-35 minutes.

The bluetooth part of this device is super easy to get set up as well. Turn the device on and a blue light flashes with the red light putting it in pair mode. I was able to locate these earbuds with my tablet, cell phone, and laptop. It took about 5 seconds to locate and start putting out music from my tablet. So it is a very fast search, find, and connect pairing system.

The sound quality is good for being earbuds. They offer a full range of sound but it is very weak in the bass range. Do not be mistaken these are not driving hard bass speakers, you simply do not get that with earbuds. The bass that it does supply you can make out clearly and it does not over power the rest of the ranges. With that being said these earbuds are made for listening to music not jamming out at full volume. I took the volume of these up slowly listening for when or if there was going to be distortion. At about 95% volume there was a slight distortion to the earbuds. This is really good since most earbuds will only make it to about 70% of their max.

These earbuds have a double mirco USB battery in them so that they can play longer between charges. They say it can go up to 12 hours on a full charge. I was able to only be about 7 hours out of them with playing my music from my tablet. For me 7 hours is pretty much all I am going to need anyways. I just put them on the charger at night before I go to bed and they are ready for the next day of use.

Next is the instructions manual. It is pretty much junk in the way that is folds out. It does give you all the information about these earbuds though. From charging, setting up, pairing, answering calls, and the warranty information.

If you are in the market for a good pair of earbuds that have a decent battery life and okay over all quality sound at a reasonable price these might be what you are looking for. They do come with a 3 year warranty and FSL Lifetime Support from its dedicated Futuresoundlab website which is a huge plus. I would like to thank IHeadphones and affiliates for sending me these earbuds to try out and share my opinion.
