Sport Earphones Review

This is a really nice set of ear buds at an affordable price. This set of ear buds come with 6 sets of rubber tips for adjustment to fit the ear lobe, USB to Micro USB charging cable, 3 sets of inner ear plugs, and instructions manual, and a carrying case to keep it all together. Currently the ear buds are available in black, blue, green, and red.


To begin with this set of ear buds comes with noise reduction ability. For a budget/affordable price of ear buds this is very rare and extremely nice. This will enhance the quality of the sound you get from the ear buds.


Now the sound is not the best on the market. However the sound these ear buds do produce is crisp and clear. This sound is also greatly enhanced when using the noise reduction. These ear buds offer a kind of full range sound. The bass that is offered is from a midrange instead of a subwoofer type bass. The volume of the ear buds will go much louder then I am comfortable with for a long period of time. I however never recommend taking any kind of speaker above 70% of its max volume to prevent damage.


Next these ear buds come with a lot of choice for comfort. If you are active you really need the rubber extenders that help grab the ear lobe to hold it in place. I noticed that as I was active the silicone strap between the ear buds would stick to my neck and pull the ear buds out very easily without these lobe grabbers in place. Now there are also 3 different sizes of inner ear pieces to choose from. This is great because sadly both of my inner ear canals are not the same size. I have to go with a medium and a small for the best fit.


The Bluetooth capabilities of these are buds are fairly standard. They do pair easy to a lot of different devices. I paired them to my Google phone, an Iphone, and my tablet without any issues. Like most budget class Bluetooth devices the further you get from the device you are connected to the more it begins to break up. Once you are about 30 feet from your device these will disconnect.


When it comes to charging these ear buds it is really simple. All it requires is hooking the USB port of the cable into a powered USB port. Then plug in the Micro USB end of the cable into the ear buds. I was able to charge these ear buds from my laptop, desktop, 110/USB adapter, and my back up battery charger. On average it takes about 45 minutes to an hour to fully charge these ear buds. So far they have been offering about 3 1/2 hours of play time per charge. Again once the battery starts getting low, my guess is about 10% and lower, the connection has more pause breaks.


If you looking for a very nice set of ear buds for a reasonable price then I suggest checking into this set. They are designed for great comfort, noise reduction, good battery life for ear buds, offer crisp and clear sound. Tweezer Set Review

This is a set of 3 tweezers from a company/brand called Marks Gouger. Included in this set of 3 are a slanted, standard, and needle nose type of tweezers. These are also different colors to make it easier to keep track of the style you are needing for the job at hand.


First off you have the black colored tweezers. This is the slanted style of tweezers. Next you have the white colored tweezers which are the standard tweezers. Lastly you have the red colored tweezers for the needle nose type.


I have used the standard set to pull a few unwanted hairs from around my eyebrow. You know losing the Uni-brow look. I have also used the needle nose to pull out a splinter from my wood working project. Both of the tweezers I have used from this set have worked flawlessly. The tweezers do not seem to be losing any of the spring back after I have used them.


If you are in the market for some grooming tools these may be some to consider. This set of tweezers makes it possible to clean up areas, take out splinters, and color coded for quicker reference on the pair you need for the job. Portable Wireless Speaker Review

This is a Bluetooth speaker from the LIG Group. This has a decent range on wireless abilities. The speaker has a decent length of play time once it is charged. This speaker pairs super easy. The speaker I have has a black housing. A quick search on Amazon this company has other links to this same speaker in additional colors.


To start with this speaker pairs super easy. All it required for pairing was powering up the speaker. Then you do a search on your device for the speaker. It took about 3 seconds to find  the speaker on my device. Once it is found all that you have to do is tell your device to connect.


Charging the speaker takes about 4 hours depending on your connection. With my 110 to USB adapter it takes right at the 2 hour mark. Through my laptop and desktop it takes about 2 1/2 hours. I know that the speaker can also take a charge from my backup battery charger and lighter adapter in the car but this seems to be a horrible painfully long charging process. Now once you have the speaker charged it will play music for 4 to 5 hours before needing to be recharged.


The Bluetooth part of this speaker can be hit and miss. If you are more then a couple of feet from the device you are connected it will have pauses and breaks in the music. However the range is about 30 feet or so before you lose the connection completely.


Sound quality is not the best. This is from a very small speaker box so you can not expect concert quality volume and ranges. The bass is there but more of a mid range bass instead of a true bass. These speakers are designed to play music for entertainment. They are not designed to over power a room with volume. The quality of the sound for the speaker is very clear and crisp for the design. For a budget pillbox type speaker I think it is a great sounding speaker.

Silicone stretch lids Review

This is a set of 6 food grade silicone lids. These lids are somewhat stretchable. Upon ordering these lids you get 4 different sizes.


These lids have pull tabs to stretch them a little bit over the container you are trying to cover. The bad part is they do not stretch very far. It needs to be really close to the size of the lid or it does not work well.


Almost everyone has that great bowl they like to use all the time. Over the years that lid has left your zip code or been destroyed. These lids can replace that missing piece. I have used these lids for my plastic container, the small ones for a cup holder, and I have used the large one to cover the end of a cut watermelon once it was cut.


If you are looking for some lids that can work on random bowl and containers around the house these could very well get the job done. They are food grade, stretchable, and clear so you can see what is in a solid container. 8-pack Dot Markers Review

This is a set of markers 8 markers that can be used for many things. They range in various colors. If you go to their websiter there are options for many other colors. Personally I play Bingo and here lately a lot of Bingo.


This set of daubers include not so common colors like brown for you standard colors for Bingo. I am always and forever getting a bit of ink on my hands while I play Bingo. These markers being washable make it a lot easier to clean up after playing Bingo. It does not wash off quickly, it does still take a bit of effort and soapy water. These daubers are close to the price you would pay at a Bingo parlor at about 2 dollars a dauber.


if you visit the website and check out the other products available you will find coloring books and other dauber you can purchase. I have never thought of using daubers as a coloring device other then for Bingo cards or the occasional dauber fight.

Beyond Wireless Bluetooth Ear Buds Review

This is a set of Bluetooth ear buds that come with 4 extra ear plugs in different sizes to fit your ears. This have a decent range on the wireless ability.  The ear buds are easy to pair to your devices.


To start with pairing these ear buds are very simple. All I had to do to pair them up was power them up and holding the button for about 3 seconds. Then I did a search on my tablet and phone, both of them found the ear buds. From there it was about a 5 second wait and they were paired to each of the devices.


The sound quality is at best average. This is a budget set of ear buds so you can not expect the moon on a budget buy. The sound is very clear coming through the ear buds making it very possible to enjoy music. All 3 ranges can be heard in the ear buds but the bass leave a lot to be desired.


Charging these ear buds is very easy. There is a USB to micro USB cable included in the box for charging purposes. All that is require is plugging the USB end of the cable into an powered USB port and then plugging the micro USB plug into the ear buds. It takes about 40 minutes for the ear buds to charge from my 110 wall adapter, laptop USB port, and desktop USB port. It takes about 45 minutes from my back up battery pack and about an hour from my lighter plug adapter in my car. The battery life is about 3 hours from a full charge of continuous music play in my ear buds.


The Bluetooth part of these ear buds are okay quality as well. They do have a tendency to break up if you get more then a couple of feet from your device. They do have a reach of about 30 feet at max for wireless abilities. The further you do get away from the device the more the sound breaks.


If you are looking for a budget pair of ear buds for listening to your music this set of ear buds can surely get the job done. They offer quick recharge time, pair very easy, average sound quality, and comfortable to wear. Orthopedic Seat Cushion Review

This is a seat cushion designed to take pressure off of your tailbone and spine. This is a U shaped cushion of sorts made from memory foam. There are 3 colors available currently being black, grey, and a light grey.


To start with the U shape makes it where you can place your tailbone(Coccyx) in a location to have no direct pressure. This is great for those that have broken or hurt their tailbone. Having no pressure on the tailbone also reduces pressure all the way up your spine. For me this is great because I have had a headache now for several years and it makes one less pressure point to intensify my headache.


Next the memory foam is a great addition to this cushion. This makes the cushion spring back to its proper form after use. Unlike standard pillows that become lumpy and awkward to sit on this one does not have those issues. Now the sleeve that comes over the cushion is one of the 3 colors. This cover can be removed from the cushion and washed as needed.


This is cushion is great for those that may have damaged their Coccyx, Spine, or have long periods of time sitting. For those that have to sit for many hours a day this is a great cushion to pick up as well. I notice I am not as tired and worn out because my head, shoulders, neck, and back are not hurting. However I have noticed if you sit on this cushion for a long time the backs of my legs start to hurt from them picking up the pressure. So taking a short stroll every once in a while makes that clear up easy enough.


If you are in the market for a better way to relieve pain from your Coccyx and Spine this is a great cushion to consider. Tire Pressure Inflator Gauge Review

Well I have to start right off with the customer service. I purchased this tire guage and the next day I was sent an email. This mail told me that a piece packaged was incorrect and they had shipped the proper piece. This is great customer service when they discover an error, fix it before you know there is an issue, and then contacting you to let you know what is happening and why.


Now the tire guage when it first comes be prepared it has an odor. It smells like a fresh rubber mold that is still hot. Leaving it out to air will take care of the smell. It took about 4 days out in the shed to lose its odor.


When it comes to the accuracy of the guage. While there no air pressure is attached to the guage it does read with in the plus or minus of 2. If I have it attached to the compressor and the air pressure on it will read a lot higher then it should. So keep this in mind when you are checking your pressures with this guage. The guage will also read up to 170 pounds of pressure. This is a lot higher then most guages on the market. Also this guage has a very large face read out making it really easy to see what pressure you are at.


Included in this package are 2 different clip on chucks. These clip onto the valve stem making it easier to apply air to the tire. These 2 clips are straight and a 90 degree clip. This makes it very easy to apply air to almost any kind of valve stem.

Portable Wireless Speaker Review

This is a mini speaker, I think it is close to what can be called a pill.  This thing is very compact and light weight. The speaker offers multiple modes to play music. Upon ordering this speaker it comes with a USB to Micro USB/3.5MM jack cable.


I will start with the sound of this speaker. It is not a loud speaker by any means. This is designed to be able to listen to your music without having to wear head phones or ear buds. It does have a full range of sound and even though it says enhanced bass it is nearly impossible to hear clearly. It sounds more like a deep mid range sound. The speaker however is very clear while listening to the music.


Now for the Bluetooth uses of this speaker. It is very simple to pair the speaker. Took only a few seconds for my tablet to locate the speaker and pair to it. There is a voice installed on the speaker telling you that it is paired, search mode, or speaker modes. This voice is a lady of Asian decent trying her best to speak English clear and does a pretty good job of it.


Next there are modes for the speaker. You can press the M button on top to change to FM Radio, Aux. jack, or Bluetooth. The next buttons on the top are the + and - buttons. These can be used to skip track or raise and lower the volume. To change the volume you have to press and hold the button down to adjust the volume. Pressing the button quickly will skip the track. I do not like this function since it is way to easy to skip the track when adjusting the volume of the speaker. The last button on the top is a mute button.


In the back there are 3 slots, a USB port, Micro USB port, and SD card port. To start with the SD card is pretty simple. Press it into place and search the mode on the top button. Next is the USB port. You could use this to charge another device from the battery if you want. No what it is built for but it can be done. You can also use the cable included and attach the 3.5MM jack to your music device directly if you do not want to use Bluetooth. The last port is for charging the speaker. This is attaching the USB end of the cable to a powered USB port and the Micro USB port into the back of the speaker. This charging process takes several hours. Depending on the source it could take as much as 5 hours. Once charged the speaker will play for about 6 1/2 hours from my experience. Once the battery does drop below about 25% the Bluetooth connection does begin to have small pauses.


If you are in the market for a Bluetooth speaker this might get the job done. It is very lightweight at about 1/2 a pound. The sound quality is great for a low cost speaker. Mens Watch Review

This is labeled as a mens watch, water proof, and with a leather band. The appearance is decent as it does appear to be a business casual style of watch. Now you will need to understand when you order this watch there is no instructions that come with this watch. I have done a web search on the watch that has helped me figure out most of the functions this watch offer.


The watch has imprinted on the back that it is water proof to 50 meters. On the Amazon page is says do not press any buttons or pull out the clock adjust arm while under water or it could damage the watch.


This watch actually has a glass face which is not normal for a budget price ranged watch. Normally they have the plastic face pieces like you find in most scratch resistant glasses. Next the band is actually made from genuine leather. This is also imprinted on the inside of the band. The rest of the watch housing seems to be made from stainless steel. This is really nice for bringing out a bit of shine to the wrist. The watch seems to keep up with the current time since I have purchased it. This has been a little over 3 weeks since purchase date.


To start with adjust the date and time there is a round knob on the side of the watch that pulls out. There are 2 stages of the knob being pulled out. You can feel it click into each stage as you pull it out. The first click set it in the mode to adjust the day of the month. The second click the furthest out spins the hands of the watch to the proper time. Pressing the button back in will start the watch again.
The two other buttons on the side of the watch on both side of the clock adjust are a stop watch type of system. They control the 3 other dials on the face that are not the day of the month dial. The upper dial is a 2 second clock segmented in 2 tenths of a second incriments. Next the bottom dial is in total seconds. This has hash marks at the 20, 40, and 60 seconds. The last dial on the left is a minutes counter like the one on the bottom with markers at the 20, 40, and 60 as well. Now the buttons are very simple on how to work these. You press the top button the dials engage and start counting. Pressing the top button again stops the dials. Pressing the bottom button resets these 3 dials to zeros.


Now my issues with this watch. First off the no instructions is a horrible way to ship anything that has random buttons to push. The watch has the label of being a mens watch. I would not have been able to wear this watch past the age of 16. The band is not geared for anyone that is not a toothpick. Lastly the gear on the side of the watch where you adjust the date on the watch stopped working on the first time I tried to adjust the watch. It spun through 4 days and stopped and has never moved since. Therefore the watch never tells me the correct day of the month. I am hoping that is a flaw with only this watch.


If you are looking for a watch that has a decent appearance and seems to be built well at an affordable price this is one you might want to consider. This watch is water resistant, stop watch, leather band, stainless steel housing, and a glass face. 10 LED Solar Powered Light Review

This is an out door solar powered light. This is a great light for placing by entrance gates to the yard or areas that need help with a bit of lighting. Upon ordering this light you get the light, hardware to mount the light, an extension charging cable line, and an instructions manual.


This light has a removable solar panel. For me this is great because I put it inside my shed. I got one of the plastic sheds and they do not come with any kind of light source. There are a few open corner areas on the shed so it can vent a little bit when it is hot. Well this cable makes it where I can mount the light on the outside of the shed and run the cable inside to the LED lights. Now my shed has a solar powered light that works off of a motion sensor.


Now for mounting the light. It is pretty simple to mount. On the back of the LED part of the unit it has an inset to hang from a screw. There are Molly's and screws included in the hardware kit provided. Next on the solar panel at the top there is also a hole to mount this to a wall.
The LED lights work great for the shed. This panel lights up the entire inside of the shed. It is only an 8 foot by 8 foot shed that I have it lighting up if that helps. It is nice when I am putting something in there after dark. I open the doors and the light comes on from my movements.


If you are looking for a solar powered light source this is one you can certainly consider. Offering 10 LED lights, easy to install, produces enough light for a small area, and works from a motion sensor. Silicone Gloves + Pot Holder Review

This is a set of silicone gloves designed to protect your hands from damage while baking, cooking, grilling, or other projects that produce heat/cold. This set of gloves also comes with a pot holder as a bonus.


To start with this set of silicone gloves do not have a liner. So if you hands are a little bit wet they can be kind of rough to get on properly. Good thing the gloves are full silicone so you do not have to have them on fully but only enough to cover your hands from touching the surface.


The gloves are silicone making them perfectly fine to work with food. I know I use them to cut corn off the cob. I grab the cob and stand it up with the glove and trim off the corn. Now do not be suprised if you feel warmth from these gloves. It is not passing enough to burn your hands. Regular baking gloves do the same thing when you hold the pan or hot surface for a prolonged time.  These gloves are rated for 425 degrees before having any kind of issues. This works great for extremely hot dish water to get rid of grease, pulling pans from the oven, cleaning your grill with a brush, or on the other side I have used these gloves to pick up a block of dry ice without doing damage to my hands.
The bonous pot holder is a pretty nice addition. It is very flat so it does not take up a great deal of space. It is about 1/2 the thickness of the cloth pot holder. It is also ridged to let the pan bottom cool quicker unlike being smoother like a blanket with the cloth pot holders. This pot holder is also very flexible and can be used to grab pans out of the oven as well without any problems.


If you are looking for a pair of gloves for around the kitchen to handle hot items these can get the job done. They are food grade quality, high heat resistance, good resistance to cold, and comes with a free pot holder. Organic pre shave oil Review

This is a primer for shaving. It is an organic oil from Best Research Labs, LLC. It is designed to prevent nicks and cuts as you are shaving. It will also soften the hairs as well making it a bit easier to shave. This comes in a glass bottle holding 2 oz. of shave oil.


I am not a fan of the odor this oil put out. However if you can get past the smell it does seem to work to some degree. I makes the skin much more slick making it harder for the blade to dig in and cut. However it might glide the blade a little bit making not as close of a cut as other methods. As far as the oil making the hairs a bit softer, I personally can not tell but I am not a razor blade. I have not had to change out my blades at any different time so I am thinking it is having about the same results as my cream.


If you are looking for a new method to add to your shaving regiment this is one you might consider. It offers a smooth texture for shaving, seems to soften the hair as much as other methods, and it does have a scent that is a little different. Solar Powered Motion Sensor Light Review

This is a very easy and compact light. The light is very easy to install. I have had my light for almost a month now and it is worked with out any flaws. This light also offers a motion sensor. Upon ordering this light you will get the hardware to hang the light and an instructions manual.


First off you need to hang the light in an area to get plenty of sunlight to charge the battery. I have mine hanging over the trash can outside on my back wall. This makes it very nice for me when I go to take out the trash after dark. This light being there has also stopped the people who used to dump in my can weekly uninvited.


The hardware sent with this light includes a Molly and screw. It is very easy to hang. It takes drilling a hole the proper size for Molly. Then press the Molly into your hole. Next hold the light with the mounting hole over the molly and start screwing the screw into the housing. Be careful this is very thin plastic and can snap and break very easily. This is the one thing I hate about this unit. I would have like to seen a metal eyelet embedded into the plastic to prevent it being easily broken. I will also wait to see how it will hold up to the high temperatures here in Arizona.


The light is not super bright. It will light up an area of about 12 feet around it in a downward direction. This will not light up a back yard to ward off skulkers unless you have a really small yard. This is something to put up for the areas that are unstable or lighting up a path way. This light does have 12 LED lights which means that they are going to last a long time. Most LED lights have a life of 30,000 hours or more.


If you are looking for a way to light up a small area from a motion trigger this is one that you should consider. It offers LED lighting, easy to install, and has a rechargeable battery from solar power. Nail Grinder Review

This is a grinder designed for pets; mainly dogs and cats. This is a very simple device to use and designed to help prevent over clipping and hurting your animals. When you order this nail clipper it does not come with batteries, so you will need to plan accordingly.


To start with the grinder wheel is inset a bit to keep from getting to far into the nails and hurting the critter. This is a very nice safty feature that I like. I am not sure how sturdy the grinder wheel is after prolonged use. I know I have used it once on the pooches and I do not see any wear on the grinding wheel as of yet.


Next the noise level as the grinder is running is not silent but it is not to loud to scare my dogs. They were a little bit skiddish at the start of my first use but they soon figured out that it was not going to harm them.

Leather Wallet Set Review

This is a leather wall and key chain combo set from Pragres. Unlike most you see on the market this is actually leather and not some imitation material. Upon ordering this wallet you will get a keychain that is made of leather as well.


To start with the wallet is black with a red inside liner. If you look at the Amazon.com page it looks to be orange. The color is off in the picture, it is red. Next the wallet has a money clip that slides in and out if you do not want it in the wallet. This wallet is also very compact/thin compared to most wallets. It has limited slots for holding bank cards and things of that size. Most people now keep that information elsewhere other than on their person now anyways. So the not having many card slots is really not a bid deal. On the outside of the wallet there is also one more slot for holding a card size object or even your drivers license.


The keychain is really unique. It has your standard split ring to put your keys on. On the other end is has a release ring that is spring loaded and opens up for a quick connect to a belt loop or back pack ring. Both of these are connected with a strap of leather.

Contoured Eye Mask Review

This is a sleep mask designed to reduce or block out light while you are trying to sleep or in my case when my headache is roaring at max. It is made from a spandex type of material so it stretches to fit almost anyones head. Upon ordering this mask it comes with a set of ear plugs and a carrying bag.


To start with for me the mask does not block out all light. It does have a bridged area to go over the nose but I am still able to see light around my nose. I do have a high bridge so that may have all to do with that. It is however not enough to really be a problem. The amount passing by my nose really does not affect how dark it is once my eyes are closed. The main thing is it blocks out the head on lighting in my face completely.


The fit of the mask is fine for around my head with the adjustable strap on the back. It is a Velcro connection between both sides. This makes it even easier to fit anyone who may wear the mask.  The only thing about this that is a problem is it is Velcro and after multiple uses things will get trapped and held in the Velcro and it will not have the same strength on its hold. Next the mask has cupped eye sockets that go out very nicely. These cups are deep enough that my eyelashes do not scrap the inside of the mask if I move my eyelids. I have very long eyelashes and this is one thing I really look for in a mask because I hate my eyelashes rubbing the inside of the mask.


Now the ear plugs that are included in this set are only for noise reduction. They will not block out all sounds to make it absolute quiet. You will be able to hear everything with only a small amount of muffling to the surrounding environment. These are very easy to put in your ears. All you do is squish the sides together then place them in the ear canal. From there the ear plugs will reform inside the canal for a secure hold.


If you are looking for a way to block out the light while you sleep this is a good mask to consider. It is formed to allow a better fit, fits almost anyone, comes with ear plugs, and a carrying case. Stainless Steel Tweezers Set Review

This is a set of 3 tweezers. The tweezers also come with storage case for them. The three types are needle nose, standard, and slanted. The tweezers are also 3 differnt colors to make it easier to know which you are grabbing when you need a pair.


To start with the color coding of these tweezers. The gold set are slanted, purple are your standard, and the silver are needle nose. Each set of the tweezers has the name Grooming District on the handle. The tweezers were designed in England but they are manufactured in China. On the back of the box there is a written statement that this set of tweezers also comes with a lifetime guarantee and to go to their website for further details.


I have used 2 of the 3 tweezers so far. I used the standard tweezers to pull some hairs that needed to go. I have also used the needle nose to pull a splinter out of my finger from my wood working project. Both of the tweezers did a fine job on the task at hand.

Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier Review

This is a compact and very easy humidifier to use. It offers a color changing bulb that includes 7 different colors. This can also be used as an air freshener as well. It does come in 2 different sizes of 1.3L and 2.8L depending on the work load you need is how you should choose to order.


I will start with the size of the humidifier. The one I have is the 2.8L which lasts 10 to 12 hours before it will run out of water. The 1.3 of course will only last about half of that. I like the 2.8L because I can run it all night and refill it in the morning. Then I am able to refill it again when I get home and it is set again through the night.


The bulb on top of the unit has the ability to change colors. This is kind of a neat feature. When you hit the LED on/off button it will start to cycle through the seven colors. If you press the button a second time it will stop on that color. Then once you press the button one more time it will turn off the LED light. This light does not have to run during the operation. I do not have it running while I am sleeping or trying to sleep because it would make it very difficult for me to sleep then.


Next the humidifier can be used as an air freshener. All that is required for this is adding a couple of drops to the sponge and turning on the unit and let it do its thing. This is kind of a nice feature because it will cover a good portion of my house. I set mine out in the living room so I can get the main areas of the house where guests will be at. It does not carry so well to all of the bedrooms.
This is a really nice unit to pick up if you environment is very dry. I know being in Arizona that is a very common thing. So this does help a lot with putting moisture in the air. The main thing with the moisture in the air I have a lot less nose bleeds from the inside of my nose being so dried out and cracking.


If you are looking for a way to add a bit of moisture to your air or maybe even an air freshener this is a good unit to pick up. It offers a color changing globe, air freshener capabilities, lasts for a decent length, or even minor health reasons. This is a set of 2 compact LED night lights that plug into a standard 110 wall outlet. The housing of these night lights are white and the lens is a soft white. This light offers a smart light sensor to help keep energy cots lower.


To start with it is a warm light night light. This means you are not going to be blinded by a bright light as you are trying to get to the restroom. The light offers enough to keep a small room lit enough to not stub your toes.


This night light has an LED light that is uses for illumination. That means the light has thousands of hours of use before it will need replace. Most are 30,000 to 50,000 hours which equals more then 10 years of lighting. Since it is an LED light it burns very little energy unlike the standard bulbs. Running this light 24 hours per day for an entire year would have an energy cost of about one dollar. The light alow has a smart sensor to turn on/off depending on how much light is already in the room. If you flip on the main switch in the room it will most likely shut this light down completely.

This is a sun guard to help protect your dash and steering wheel from getting super hot in the sun. It fits almost any vehicle windshield. The sun shade is very compact and very light weight. I have seen a few of these on the market and most of them do not come with a bag to hold the shade in once you fold it but this one from Ohuhu comes with a carrying bag.


To start with this sun shade comes with 2 different colored sides. One is silver and the other is black. Depending on which color you face out on how much the inside of the car will attract heat in. If you put the black side out it will hold more heat and increase the temperature inside the vehicle, and the opposite with the silver.


Putting the shade into place is very easy to do. First thing you do is unfold the shade. Then place it up on the dash. Next put the area between the 2 rings that is soft under the rear view mirror. Then you fold down both visors to hold the tops in place. Lastly put to the side of the wind shield as needed to get a full cover of the glass. This is where the main purpose of this sun shade comes into play. It helps protect the dash from getting to hot all of the time and cracking and it helps prevent the steering wheel from getting to hot when you get in the car to drive it.

Maxam® Liner Lock Knife Review

I am at a loss for this product. As a reviewer and getting the product shipped to me at no charge to try out. I always try to write on the positive side and the positive aspects of the product sent to me. With this knife I am sad to say the best thing about it is that the head quarters for Maxam is based in the U.S.A.


With that being said the company being based in the U.S.A. is great except the manufacturing is done in China. Very little care went into the construction of this knife that I was sent. To start with the picture of the product does not match what I received in the mail. The picture shows a knife made with stainless steel where as the knife I got was made from cheap steel. The picture shows the hit handle being riveted together and on the one I got it is held by 2 screws on each side. Next the wood does not match or even share the color shown in the picture. I was looking forward to the dark texture and got this thing instead. Next the blade folded into the handle is not centered and rubs the side as it goes into place. Next the blade has no edge at all from being shipped. It took me over 3 hours on a whet stone to get it to being a dull knife. I think this is because the grade of steel used in the construction. Although I am sure once I do get it sharp it will hold the edge well, the trick is getting it to that point. The thumb bar is to far towards the knife and can be a little difficult to get it to swing out easily. I am able to get it to work but I have very large hands. The normal person would have difficulty on getting it to work properly. The last thing I do not like is the removing the locking from inside the handle. That is an accident looking for a finger to lose. This is only a design flaw in my opinion not an actual problem I had with the knife.


Sadly this is a product I can not recommend for anyone to pick up. Leaving the blade in and grabbing it at the base of the knife and swinging it, will make it a better hammer then a knife. I would like to thank SKIVU for sending me this knife to try and share my opinion.

Mens Watch With Nylon Band Review

This is a very simple designed watch with a band design of red, white, and blue. The watch offers a large face design. The watch offers a very slim design. The watch band is a very unique design and will take time to get it to work for you.


I will start with the clock face. It has a plastic cover much like those made for eye glasses to help reduce scratching. Therefore the covering of the face should be somewhat durable for an active life style. Now for the face it is a white/pearl color with fairly boring markers. The statement Skmei is also printed on the face of the watch and it is a company I have never heard anything about.


Next, the watch claims that it is water proof for about 30 meters. Then in the instructions it says it is not designed for being submerged. To me this is not good practice to claim something it is not. If it was water proof to 30 meter there would not be a disclaimer saying do not submerge the watch. It should be stated water resistant for being able to handle rain and splashes of water.


I have had no issue with the watch keeping accurate time once I removed the battery saver. Now the watch calls for it being a mens watch. Sadly I can not see this as a mens watch. I was unable to even get the band to touch going around my wrist. This is more for a small child, pre-teen, or a ladies watch. The design is universal enough to work for either sex. This is a great starter watch for your child to learn how to take responsibility for jewelry. It is cheap enough that if it is lost of damaged it is not a huge loss.


If you are looking for a starter watch for a child this is a great watch to consider. If you are a lady and do not join in a lot of physical work/activies that damages watches this is a great choice as well. Domestic Corner Grilling Mat Review

This is a set of 2 mats that are designed to be used in baking or grilling. These mats are also made to be non-stick. The mats are really easy to use and a great tool for a new baker or griller.


I have used these on my grill now for about a month now. The first mat is still going strong without any real problems. I have used them to cook crab cakes, vegetables, steaks, hot dogs, shrimp, bacon, and chops to mention a few. If it can be cooked on a stove with a pan you can do the same with it on this grill mat on the grill.


I have found out that you do not use much sauce at all or the sauce will burn and then stick to the meat and then to the mat. I only put a light brush of my sauce that I want on the meats before putting them on the mat and I have no trouble at all. If you are doing something like salmon you will need to put down a small amount of oil, I use olive oil. I put a thin layer of oil making sure to cover the entire are the fish will have contact on the mat. I usually take and sprinkle a bit of dill weed on the oil and then I set my fish on the oil patch. Now when you are getting ready to turn the fish you will need to prep another area the same way to prevent it from tearing. Make sure to be careful as you turn since it is a flaky fish and can crumble easy without trying.


Cleaning the mat is pretty easy as well. I use a garden hose to spray it down to start with. I do not turn the hose on full blast because I do not want to chase the mat across the yard. Once I knock of the larger chunks of residue left behind from cooking I take the mat into the house. From there I use warm soapy water with a wash cloth and scrub the surface clean. I then rinse off the mat and place it in the grill and close the hood. It air dries in the grill and I no longer have to worry about it.


As far as baking this mat works perfect as a pan liner for a sheet pan. It creates an area of non-stick that makes clean up a piece of cake. I have never had one cookie stick to the mat from baking on them. They slide off so easy and on to the cooling racks.


If you are looking for a good set of mats to help in the kitchen for baking or out on the grill these are some to consider. These are great for any kitchen/grill from the novice to the chef. It works the same for each when it comes to non-stick and ease of cooking. The spices you get to figure out on your own. Sun shade Review

This is a wire ring type of sun shade for the front or back glass of your vehicle. It is a 2 color shade being black on one side and silver on the opposite. This sun shade folds down to a very compact size to make it really easy to store.


To start with the color of the shade makes a ton of difference on heat dispurtion. The black of course will hold more heat to the car where the silver will reflect more. This is important in my opinion because in the summer I put the silver facing out to help keep a little more heat out. During the winter I put the black out to draw more heat towards the inside of the car to maybe help warm it up as needed. I do not know if this theory actually works but I am sticking with it.


Now for the compact part of this shade. It folds up to the size of a dinner plate and about the same thickness. It does take a little bit of practice to figure out how to fold and twist it to get to this size. Once you get it figured out it is very easy to do from then on. For me the shade is thin enough that I keep it between the seat and the center console of my car. With this sun shade you can not go yanking it around and abusing it, it will not take abuse well. When you are storing it you will need to make sure not to snag it on anything as it can do some damage to the material.


To install the shade is very simple. First thing you do is unfold the shade. This will happen as you unfold it, the shade will expand. I leave it folded in half until I get it up on the dash. Next I unfold it to the full width and put it up towards the glass. Now you have to get the soft area of the visor between the rings underneath the rear view mirror. Once you have this under the mirror it will pretty much set up on the dash really easy for you. To finish off the set up you turn down the vizors on both sides to finish holding it in place.

Anti-Theft Security Stand for Tablets Review

This is a rather remarkable tablet stand. It is designed for Ipod, Ipad, and other larger sized tablets. The stand mounts securely to a smooth surface. Upon ordering this tablet it comes with the base mount, swivel arm, anti-theft cable, instructions page, and hardware.


I will begin with the stand. It mounts sercurly to a smooth surface. Once it is in place it is sercure. I personally drilled 4 holes through the surface and used nuts and bolts versus the 4 screws that were included. I do not expect everyone to go to this length on mounting the base. Next the arm swing that attaches to the base. This is very simple to attach. You have to slide the arm out fully so you can see the bolt hole for attaching it. Now on the metal stud on the base you place the plastic washer. Next you place the arm in the slot you wish. There are 2 slots that changes the heighth off of the desk the bottom of the tablet. Once you have the setting hole you are wanting you use the bolt to attach it firmly to the base. The swing arm will function in multiple ways. It will go in a 360 spin motion so you can adjust the screen how you want it to be presented. This arm will also flip over the top on either side of the base mount.


Now there is a cable you can attach to the back of the swing arm and then around the leg of your desk/table. This is a very nice addition if you are concerned that your tablet may be in jepordy of being stolen. I do not have to use this option because I do not have an issue with this kind of problem.
Now to place your device on this base is very simple. On the back of the swing arm there is a release button to slide the upper part of the arm out. Then you place your tablet into the bottom hook with a corner of the device. Next you slide the top of the arm down. This will make a clicking noise as it is closing down on the tablet. Now put the opposite corner into the top hook of the arm. This sercures your device into the holder.


I use this stand for my tablet. My tablet is a 10.1 inch screen. I have no issues with it mounting into this holder. I like this holder because it is very stable and sturdy. I have tried those cheap stands that are a 3 prong arm. I have also tried one of the spider looking holders with 6 legs. The one with 3 arms always shifts as you are using the tablet making it a horrible constant battle for keeping your device in place. The ones that look like a spider are okay as far as being able to set up in many direction and attach to surfaces you would not usually consider as placement. However the spider looking ones do the same with the arms constantly moving and being a pain. With this stand the tablet is secure and in place. As I tap the screen I do not have to adjust the placement ever. I can also change the screen to what works best for me and the app. I am currently running.


This stand offers a lot of stability and security for your device. It will hold 9 inch to 13 inch screens sizes for the most part. So if you are in the market for a very good device stand this is one I would most certainly consider. It offers easy mounting of the base, easy mounting for your device, security cable for protection, and is great for stability of your device. Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker Review

This is a compact speaker to play your music without having to wear head phones/buds. It is water resistant at and IPX5 rating. It has multiple connection modes for your speaker. Upon ordering this speaker it comes with a USB to Micro USB charging cable, a short dual male 3.5MM jack for wiring direct, and an instuctions manual.


To start with I am going to cover the sound quality of this speaker. It does include the full range of sound while it is playing music. All of the ranges come in great and clear with the speaker. Keep in mind this is a very small speaker and it not going to have a driving bass like a vehicle having six 15 inch subwoofers. The sound quality is very good at the cost of the speaker. It does not have the sound quality of my Bose system but we are talking hundreds of dollars in cost differences. With the volume at about 70% I can hear the mucic clearly throughout most of the house with the speaker being in a cental location. There are warnings when adjusting the volume to a higher level letting you know it can cause damage to the speaker. You can however force it to go past the warning beep to 100%. I did push the speaker to this level for 4 songs including hip hop, country, rock, and a jazz song. I wanted to hear the play of various types of music and this covers a pretty large range.


The next thing to consider with a speaker like this is the quality of the Bluetooth connection and straight jacking into the unit. With doing the straight jack into the unit and your head phones jack of your player there are no dead spots or lose of connection with the music play back. With the BLuetooth connection it is a little bit different story. The further you get from the music source with the speaker there are dead spots in the play back. I use my tablet to play my music and if I set the speaker directly on top of the tablet I would get a dead spot about every fifth song. Moving it about 20 feet from my tablet I would expericence dead spots in almost every song.


The greatest thing about this system is the water proof rating. It is great for letting you take the speaker into the shower/bath and if it gets wet it is not going to hurt it. Even if you drop it in the tub it will be good as long as you get it back out quickly. If you are outside by the pool an occasional splash of water is not going to hurt this speaker.


Now for charging this unit it is very easy. All it requires is plugging the Micro USB into the speaker and then plug in the USB port into any powered USB port and it will begin to charge. It does require a few hours for the speaker to get to full charge. Once it is to full charge I was able to listen to music for 7 hours on one charge. The speaker was still going strong at that time and was not drained but I was going to bed and wanted it ready for the next day.


If you are looking for a speaker to use for your music play list this is one you should consider. It offers decent quality sound, a long lasting charge, very easy to use, and very easy to recharge at a good price. GERmanikure Crystal File Review

This is a double sided nail file made of crystal. When you order one of these files it comes with a leather holder. The one that I ordered has a phrase engraved into the handle that says "Make Mistakes". The company that makes this file has a lot of phrases to choose from and file handles in other colors on their website.


I am going to begin with how durable this file seems to be. I have dropped it once with out it being in the leather holder onto a wood floor. There was no damage I could see from the impact on the floor. This was only from the heighth of the kitchen table. I do not intend to keep testing the drop durability. Now for the durability of using the file. I have been using this file for about a month now and I can see no signs of the file surface detiorating from use.


The file is designed to used by either sex. It is tough enough to work on my nails. My nails are thick and coarse. The file seems to have no issues with sanding them down quickly. Usually only takes about 5 seconds sanding in an area to completely smooth out my nail. The leather case that is provided with the file is also designed to compliment either sex as well.


If you are in the market to take care of your nails this is one file you should consider. The file offers a unisex design, a unisex leather holder, durability, works very quickly on nails, and from this company usually some form of hype message engraved on the file handle. Produce Bags Review

This is a set of 6 reuseable produce bags. These are designed to take to the store with you while you are shopping. I like the product, the idea, and the uses of these bags.


I will start with the company that sent me this bags. It is a company called Kakolee and their idea is to make the world more green. If you visit their website they have a lot of information on taking care of the environment and help reduce the carbon foot print. The companies webite is not completed as of yet but I look forward to watching the site as it grows.


Now this set of 6 bags I take with me everytime I go to the grocery store. I use them for a lot of the produce I pick up. I do not put sharp pointy type produce into my bags because I do not want to take a chance of damaging them. The bags do seem like they would take that kind of abuse but I am not interested in finding out. The great thing about these bags is you can bring them home and reuse them over and over again. No more using those junk plastic bags you find in the produce area. Of the many types of produce I have used these bags for range from onions, cucumbers, tomatoes, plums, berries, and apples to name a few.


The other aspect of these bags is the breatheable mesh they are made from. This is so much better then leaving your produce in those junk plastic bags. I am guilty of doing this and I know this is not good but sometimes I am lazy. Now I can put the produce directly in the fridge in the mesh bag and I do not have to worry about them and it makes my life a bit more lazy!


If you are looking to become more eco-friendly these are a great set of bags to help you along that journey. The bags offer a breatheable mesh netting, seem to be durable, and can be reused. Car Wastebasket or Storage Review

This is a small bag for use in your vehicle. It is a medium sized bag for a trash can or storage bag for a vechile. There are 3 color choices for the storage bag stipe. These colors are black, green, and pink. Upon placing an order for this you get the trash can and 20 liners.


This is a soft sided bag used for trash or storage in your car. The soft sides are great on your calves when you get in your car. Most are firm and do not flex much and will scratch your legs up some if you are not careful getting in the car. The sides are soft but they do hold an upright shape and does not crumple down from sitting in place for an extended amount of time.


On the top side of the bag there is a Velcro strip to hold the top closed as long as you do not have a liner in place. This works great as a storage bag that you can close. It does not seal tight but it is enough to prevent the contents from rolling out of the bag. Now there is also a strap that will go around a permenant fixture of the vehicle to hold it in place while going down the road. I have mine around the base of the third seat in my vehicle.


Now for the bags that come along with this storage/trash bin. I do not think they are a very good bag. The bags seem to tear very easy. I was putting my first liner inside the bin and as I was rolling it down over the top lip of the bin the bag ripped on the corner of the bin. If you put a little bit of weight in the bag it will also tend to rip really easy as well. Areta Pulse Oximeter Review

This is a very nice device to have around the house to help monitor you body. It is very easy to use this device to take your pulse and oxygen saturation in your blood. Upon ordering this Oximeter it comes with the meter, carrying case, strap for the case, 2 AA batteries, and an instructions manual.

This meter is great to check your oxygen level. This makes it where you can monitor for things like asthma, copd effects, and geriatric levels of Oxygen. This is will tell the story as to if you need to stop and take a few deep breaths to get your chemistry correct to carry on with your activities. It will also let you know if there is a need to seek medical attention because the Oxygen level may be to low. Next the meter will also show your pulse rate. This is great to make sure your heart is not going crazy and beating 4 times its normal pace. If it is you know to seek help quickly.


The meter also has a rotating screen to make it more user friendly. This means as you are looking at the screen if you change the position of your hand the screen will rotate to make it easier to read. No more having to try and read the screen while it is upside down. Next the screen lights up nicely with big easy numbers to read. These numbers are also light up very bright so it is easy to read. The Oxygen reading is a very bold and bright set of numbers. The pulse rate is a bit smaller and a little less bright to make it easy to tell which one is for what stat.


The last thing on the meter screen to talk about is the pulse meter. This will beep at you as your pulse strikes the unit. It also looks a lot like an EKG going across the side of the unit. Being so small on this part of the graph you could not really tell if it was spiking from the graph. However you could tell real quick if you pulse is out of bounds with how quickly it is beating.


Using this Oximeter is very easy. First thing you need to do is place the batteries into the unit. Make sure you do put them in correctly or the unit will not function. Next I took of the thin film that was across the screen of the unit. This is something you do not have to do, I think it looks better without the film on it. Now you place it on the index finger, and if that is not an option the nearest finger to where the index finger. Now you press the button on the top of the unit at the edged of the read out screen. This is a small, gray, half moon shaped button. Lastly you read what the meter is displaying to finish your reading. Once you are done with your testing, remove the Oximeter from the finger and put it away in the case. The meter will shut off on its own. It takes 5 or 6 seconds for the meter to shut down.

Garlic Press Review

This is a very handy kitchen gadget to have around. Makes using fresh garlic a lot easier. The garlic press is made from stainless steel. The press is very easy to operate and clean.


If you have ever tried to use fresh garlic by crushing it with the blade of a knife then you know the pain. This removes all the pain from that process. Simply pull off the husk enough to get a clove broke loose. You do not have to peel the clove to use the press. Next you place the clove of garlic in the round bowl area of the press and squish the garlic with the plunger. Then the garlic comes out of the mincer area with out the skin and ready for use.


Now for cleaning the press it is very simple. It is stainless steel so it is dishwasher safe if you want to go that route. I use warm soapy water and a dish cloth. Now this press have the removeable mincer that makes it very easy to clean. If you leave a bit of the skin on the clove when you press, it will be in them mincer cup. It is very easy to remove from the cup. I use a tooth pick since I have huge hands and can not get my fingers in there to pull it out. I just hook the skin and it comes right out.


The only thing that I do not like about the press is the plunger for the press. It works fine but sometimes you have to, for a better word, jiggle it or it can bind up on the press. It is only because the plunger does start in at a bit of an awkward angle. There is nothing really wrong with it but it can bind up on you if you are in a hurry and you may have to spend an extra 5 seconds getting it to press your garlic. Not a huge leak in time but worth mentioning.


If you are looking for a garic press this is one that you should consider. It is very inexpensive, the press does nicely with mincing your garlic, super easy to clean, and has a removeable mincer bowl. Anti-Fatigue Mat Review

This is a 20 by 30 inch foam mat designed to reduce muscle and leg fatigue from standing in one spot for a long period of time. The mat is thicker then most I have seen on the market at almost an inch thick. This mat is very light weight which makes it very easy to move and clean as needed.


I am going to start with the surface of the mat. It is a smooth black surface. The top can be a bit slippery if you get it wet. So be warned and ready for some slipage on the top side of the mat. Now on the back surface of the mat it has an anti-slip surface to keep the mat from moving when you do step upon the mat. There is also a trailing downward edge around the mat to help prevent catching your shoes/feet on as you are stepping onto the mat as well.


When it comes to durability the mat is mid grade across the board. This mat is designed for clean environments like at a desk or maybe at the sink area of your kitchen for doing dishes. In these situations the mat is amazing and will stand up with out any problems. With the product being made from a foam type substance it does not do well at areas like a shop work desk area. You should consider a rubber mat for a shop environment. I know when I am working on things I tend to drop sharp, hard, jagged, and sometimes even hot which does not work well with the foam material.


The mat does however help with what it is intended to do. It does help reduce the muscle fatigue from standing in one place for a long period of time. It will not get rid of all of the pain from my experience but I have not found anything that will do that. I have also noticed that the ache at my heels are also much less then normal after standing on this mat. The mat claims to help reduce pain in the knees but I was unable to determin if there was any help. I am not sure there really is anything to help with my knees though.


If you are looking for a nice mat to help reduce fatigue and aches this mat can help reduce the pain. It is very light weight, thick, and does help reduce pain. I would like to thank Standee Co. and affiliates for sending me this anti-fatigue mat to try out and share my opinion.
