This is a primer for shaving. It is an organic oil from Best Research Labs, LLC. It is designed to prevent nicks and cuts as you are shaving. It will also soften the hairs as well making it a bit easier to shave. This comes in a glass bottle holding 2 oz. of shave oil.
I am not a fan of the odor this oil put out. However if you can get past the smell it does seem to work to some degree. I makes the skin much more slick making it harder for the blade to dig in and cut. However it might glide the blade a little bit making not as close of a cut as other methods. As far as the oil making the hairs a bit softer, I personally can not tell but I am not a razor blade. I have not had to change out my blades at any different time so I am thinking it is having about the same results as my cream.
If you are looking for a new method to add to your shaving regiment this is one you might consider. It offers a smooth texture for shaving, seems to soften the hair as much as other methods, and it does have a scent that is a little different.
