Vintage Bicycle Clock Review

I think this is a pretty cool looking clock. It is a metal frameed clock in the shape of a vintage bicycle. It is fairly lightweight for being mostly made of metal. I am going to guess about 2 pounds.


This clock seems to be well constructed. The welds seem to be decent in the manner that you do not have to worry about them popping under light pressure. The only part of this bicycle replica would be the chain since it is a fairly thin metal. Mine was slightly bent out of form when I got in with the sprocket of the chain area and it was very simple to press it back into place. The frame is made with a pretty good sized guage of metal and appears that it would be really difficult to bend.


The clock are in the front wheel is the a neat addition. It would have been a cool piece without the clock in it. Everyone who has seen this bicycle has brought to my attention on how neat the design stands out. Now for the clock there is a plastic back cover that snaps on and off. Very simple to remove and reattach. Once it is open you can see the clock structure and where to insert the battery. It requries a single AA battery to power it. Snap it in place, adjust to the current time, place the back cover on, and then set it where you want to display. Personally I have mine on my desk so it can be a conversation starters which makes it a great tool. The clock is a really quiet smooth motion clock. It is not the standard tick, tick, tick noise from most of these clocks with the second hand bouncing as it is tracking around the face. The face cover of the clock is plastic and makes it really easy to keep cleaned.

Life-Phorm All-in-One Device Holder Review

Well I call this my spider. It is a very unique tool for holding many different devices. The legs can be adjusted to almost any position that you need for the best support for your device. As far as I know it only comes in black and I hope they start putting other colors out on the market for those that like to pair colors to devices.


When you get this holder it can be a bit of a challenge at first to figure out how to work the legs for your device. I strongly recommend looking over the instructions manual that it comes with. The legs do only spin a certain distance and the joints have to be tightened up often. However you can remove a leg and reverse it if you need to for your devices.


There are 6 legs in all for this unit. Each of the legs have 3 joints for 100's of combinations for mounting your devices. Personally I use my spider for my 10 inch tablet. I set my tablet on the top of the spider and kick it up to where I can watch it like a television. If you tap the screen often the legs can start to collapse down some and you might have to readjust it. Several taps can also start the tablet scooting across the desk unless you hook it to the desk edge.


Where this differs from most tripods and such is the little hooks on it. If you have a wireless camera you can attach it with the hooks almost anywhere. It can be used to mount cameras on, web cams, phones, tablets, or almost any small electrical device since it is so versatile.


If you are looking for a new and unique way to mount your devices with decent stability this is a device you should consider. It is fairly easy to adjust for almost any small devices you may have. Laptop Cooling Pad Review

This is a AWESOME cooling pad for your laptop computers. It will keep you laptop at cool enough temperatures so that it wont shut down due to over heating. It seems to be very durable and very light weight.


Okay to start with the pad has 4 large cooling fans. It covers the entire base of my 17 inch laptop surface. It is much better then most you find on the market that only offer 2 small fans in the general processor area. This cooling pad not only covers the processor area but it also gets your video card, hard drive, mother board, and ram with its cooling fans. I have never had an issue with my laptop even heating up the slightest bit with this cooling pad running. Most of the newer laptops do not get as hot as they used to, but they can still build up heat after some prolonged use. I used to be able to feel the heat through my jeans from my laptop but this cooling pad stops every bit of the heat.


The cooling pad is very light weight and compact. It takes up very little room and at only about an inch in thickness it does not make it to bulky to pick up at the same time with your laptop. The fans are super quiet and offer a blue LED light in each one. The cord that powers the fans hooks into a USB slot. This cord is fairly decent because it is a braided cord. On the top of the cooling pad there are 2 tabs you can flip up, this helps prevent the laptop from sliding around some on you. On the bottom side there are 2 legs you can pop out as well if you are working from a desk and would like to elevate the monitor area a little bit.


If you are looking for a great cooling pad for your laptop, you simply can not go wrong with this cooling pad. It fits up to 17 inch laptops, very light weight, and keeps your laptop temperatures low. The pad offers 2 fan speeds for best perfomance or for a more quiet setting, either settin as far as I can tell are really quiet. 2 Balance Bracelets Review

This is a set of 2 silicone bracelets.  They are a set of round bead connected bracelets that come in 2 colors. One is white and the other is a light blue. Both of these bracelets have a navy blue bead on each. The bracelets come in a very nice small drawstring bag.


Okay to start off these bracelets do not contain the standard Dead Sea Waters, or the mud/dirt from Mt. Everest. Those to ingredients are almost always connected with any form of balance gear like these bracelets. They go into great detail in the explination of these bracelets on how those 2 parts are not needed. It instead basis the balance of your own mental clarity to maintain balance. To me these bracelets do not help with balance other then when you have them on and wearing them for you to be able to look down and see them and to put your own thinking back in order.


Next these bracelets are very poorly constructed. They are not sent to you polished as it was claimed. My bracelets had pieces of silicone strands still on the bracelets from being removed from the molds. Next the bracelets are super delicate. I picked these up for my mother, who depending on the type of shoes is 5'2" on a good day. She is also in her late 60's so she is not out running and gunning like most youths. With that in mind, on the thrid time she put the bracelets on the light blue bracelet snapped as it was going over her hand. There is absolutely no way to have this repaired and it is now only trash.


If you are looking for some bracelets, I must recommend against these bracelets. They are not manufactured well and are extremely easy to break. The only positive thing about these bracelets is the small carrying bag they were sent in. The lead of the band has an incredible voice that is actually very soothing. Makes the song flow that much more smooth.

Charging Cable Review

This is a USB to micro USB charging cable. The cable is a very long charging cable at 10 feet. This charging cable is built to last with extreme durability. So far I have only seen where this is available in black.


I was able to use this charging cable on any device that accepted a micro USB port. These devices included 3 different modles of phones, 2 different tablets, portable Bluetooth speakers, and my Bluetooh ear buds. With each of the devices it was a simple plug into a USB power source and then the micro USB plugged into the device. As far as what I was able to use for a power supply varied. I was able to use USB power sources from my laptop, desktop, portable battery back up, wall mount 110/USB adapter, and lighter adapter socket for my car. In most cases a 10 foot cable is way over kill on what I needed.


The cable being 10 feet long does make it much easier to charge in comfort while using the device. Most charging cables are about a foot in length which makes it some what difficult to charge the device while using unless you are looking to become a mounted object to the wall. I found that I was able to plug this into my 110/USB adapter and have it charing while I could sit in the comfort of my couch. The only downside to this cable is its length and only because it can be a tripping hazard if you are not watching where you step.


The cable is a very rugged braided cable. Unlike most cables this is flat and not rounded. With the cable being flat it makes it much easier to get it to stay in place, or at least I think it does. The connecting ends of this cable are very durable as well. You can feel how well of a connection is made on the first time you plug it in. It is not a sloppy fit at all on either end of the cable.


If you are looking for a very durable and long charging cable that is USB to micro USB this one will take care of all your needs. It is easy to plug and charge almost anything that uses a micro USB charging port. Blitzwolf 110/USB Adapter Review

This is a 2 USB port charging station that converts 110 to USB. It plugs into the standard wall socket. It is currently available in black and white. It is fairly compact and light weight. Will fit into any small carrying bag side pockets, or even a shirt pocket.


The adapter is made from a very solid plastic. It is roughly 2 inches by 2 inches and about one inch in thickness. The plug in that goes into the wall folds up inside the unit making it more compact and easier to transport. You do not have worry about them getting hooked on something and breaking an internal connection. Not to mention if you get bumped and have it in your pocket the plug in prongs are not going to jab into you.


For charging I was able to charge anything that uses a USB charging port. I used this 2 port adapter for charging a feature phone, smart phone, 3 diffent modles of tablets, a couple of Bluetooth speakers, and some Bluetooth ear buds. When the unit is ready for charging there are blue lights in each of the charging ports showing there is power to the unit and ready to accept USB charging cables. This Blitzwolf unit offers two 2.4A charging ports. Most on the market only offer 1A ports. This greatly reduces the charge time of the devices plugged in to the adapter. It also has smart charging tech. Where if you device will not accept the faster charge it will meter to what you device can handle and not burn it out.


My only complaint about this charging adapter is when it is plugged in I think it extends a little far from the wall. As long as you put it in an area where it is not going to get grazed there will never be an issue however. If you are looking for a very good adapter for 110/USB this will certainly take care of all of your needs. Loop de loop Train Set Review

This is a wonderful toy for small children from Manatoy. It is a choking hazard and says for children 3+. This is a plastic train track that takes a little bit of time for set up. This is not a simple pull out of the box and go set. The set up instructions that come with this train set are on the back of the box. If you get rid of the box and need the instructions again they are offered on their website.


In total this train set has a little under 100 pieces to its set up. It took me about 20 minutes to get it set up fully and the train going along the tracks. Most of the pieces snap together fairly tight so they do not separate easy while the train is going along to its destination. You can purchase additional cars and pieces to add to your train as well. This set only comes with the engine. On the back of the engine there is a battery chamber that has a screw holding it in place.


This is not a fast race car type of track. It moves slower to catch the attention of smaller children. If it was fast moving most likely they will lose interest because they are unable to keep their eyes visually locked on the movement. The many levels that the train rises to and the loop de loop it does will bring many hours of entertainment.


If you are looking for a great toy to provide hours of entertainment for the smaller children this is perfect. If they are smaller then 3 please be very mindful and watch the kiddo's closely because it does have small parts they can put in their mouth and choke on them. Bluetooth Wireless Headphones Review

This is a fairly nice set of ear buds from Primed4u. They currently come in 5 color choices; black, blue, green, hot pink, and orange. They are Bluetooth ear buds that pair easily to almost any device. The ear buds also come with a charging cable and silicone ear pieces for all types of ears upon ordering them.


It always starts with the sound quality when it comes to items like this. These ear buds offer a decent quality sound across all 3 ranges. From tweet, mid, and bass. The bass is not a hard driving bass but it is present. The music sound quality is always crisp and clear with these ear buds. The volume of these ear buds will play fairly loud. I usually do not take my ear buds above 70% so they will maintain an extended life. I did test these at full volume for about 10 minutes. The speakers did not show any signs of distortion while at max volume.


Pairing these ear buds is a very simple process. Everything that I have set up to search for Bluetooth devices has located these ear buds when in pairing mode. How this works there is a small press button on the side of the ear buds. This will turn the ear buds on and there will be a blue and red LED flashing light that indicates the ear buds are in pairing mode. From there on the search of your device select these ear buds and they pair up. I paired these ear buds with my tablet, phone, and laptop.


Charging is also a very simple for these ear buds. They come with a USB to mirco USB charging cable. I was able to attach it to any USB port and charge these ear buds. I was able to get these ear buds to charge from my laptop, desktop, back up battery back up, lighter socket in my car, and 110/USB wall mount charger. From what I have found out you can charge these ear buds from any power source that has a USB port. While the ear buds are charging they will not pair and/or play music. They power down completely until you remove the charging cable and then you have to re-pair the ear buds to the device. Now the charge on these ear buds seem to last about 4 1/2 hours on average for me. The charging time on the first go took about 2 hours to get the blue light to turn on showing full charge. Since it has taken about 45 minutes to get a full charge.


If you are looking for a really easy to use ear buds that are Bluetooth capable with decent quality sound these ear buds will take care of all of your needs. It has a fucntion to be able to answer you phone as well with these. I did not use this fucntion, I have only used them with my tablet for listening to music other then testing the pairing on many devices. These ear buds also come with a guarantee from the company that they will refund your money if you are not satisfied with them. Microfiber Cleaning Cloths Review

This is a set of four microfiber towels. They are wash cloth size at 12"x 12" in size. They are amazingly soft and very thin. As far as I know they only come in Royal Blue for your color choices.


I use them for washing my dishes. They are super thin and makes it very easy to tell if you have missed a small piece of stuck on food. I never have to worry about them scratching or damaging any of my dishes. They are completely safe to use on non-stick surfaces. The cloths are also great for cleaning windows, televisions, monitors, mirrors, and counter tops. You can use these cloths basically on any smooth surface. I do not recommend using it on a surface that can snag the towels because it can ruin the cleaning cloth.


Care for these cleaning cloths is pretty simple. DO not use harsh cleaning chemicals. When you wash them do not use fabric softeners. I personally put them in my delicates bag so there will be no lint transfer to the cleaning cloths. This extends the life of the towels. I usually air dry all of my microfiber cloths. This can be done in the dryer, it is only my preference to air dry them.


If you are looking for a great set of cleaning cloths these are certainly some to consider. They are great for any surface, easy to take care of, and can be used many times over and over. OXA Men's Vintage Backpack Review

This is a very nice canvas back pack. They label it as a vintage military bag. It is certainly one of the better grade back packs you can pick up. For the price it is well worth getting over those inexpensive back packs you find at most big box stores. It is available is 4 colors; Army Coffee, Coffee, Gray, and Khaki.


The bag design looks more to be a female type of bag but I think it is still close to a unisex bag. On the label it does say OXA Janes, so it might be a little more towards females, or it is possibly the designers name. I do not know, it is there. The stitching through out the bag is a very good grade and looks like it will not give anytime soon. The snaps and zippers are a high grade as well. They do not jump off track or catch and stop on a lint ball.


Now for the storage areas of the bag. To start with the main compartment storage is access from the top of the bag. There are 2 leather straps that snap into place that hold this flap over the compartment. There is a draw string to release the opening to the size that you need. It does open really large. If I had to guess it opens to about the size of a basketball for an opening. On the inside of this compartment there is a thin piece of material that makes another pocket in the compartment. It is padded and works well for my tablet. Next there are 2 small zipper pockets to store small misc. items in like charging cables. On the outside of the bag there are 3 more zipper compartments that can hold other small items you would like to keep separated from the tussle in the larger compartment.


This bag being made from canvas makes it somewhat water resistant. If you leave it out in the rain of course it will soak through, but a couple minutes in the rain getting to your destination should keep your contents in side the bag dry. The bag has a single strap at the top in the middle back for hanging it on a coat rack, or use it to pick up the bag and move. The should straps for carrying it on your back is adjustable and will fit almost anyone unless you are a giant and then it would still work over one shoulder!


If you are looking for a very high grade bag/backpack for camping, school, over night stays, or to transport small electronics in, this bag is one you really need to consider. Black & Blue Tungsten Ring Review

This is an 8mm ring with a black background and a dark blue center line around the outside of the ring. It has kind of a Celtic design in the blue band around the outside. It is made from Tungsten so it is definately very durable. It is available in sizes 6-13 including 1/2 sizes. They have it listed as a wedding band but with the design it can work as a regular everyday band.


To start with it is made from a very strong material called Tungsten. This is not like your typical gold bands. This ring does not slowly conform to you finger from pressure and become out of round. This ring is rigid and solid so there will be no going out of round. The surfaces of the ring are polished very smooth and slide on and off your fingers very nicely. I have had no chemical reactions to this metal to skin by the way of discoloration. I have washed dishes, taken a shower, worked on the truck, and done gardening work with this ring on the entire time. The ring shows no signs of scratching, marring, or loss of its finish.


Now the design has a very nice patten across the blue band of the ring. I think it is a little thick and hides the blue a little to much. That is only my visual opinion. The design looks like a continuous Celtic design around the ring. The blue band somewhat resembles a sapphire type blue.


If you are in a profession that requires little or no jewlery, looking for a great starter ring for a childs first ring, or if you have a very active life style. Apple Certified to USB Cable Review

I have never saw myself getting a 10 foot charging cord. I am the person that sets it to charge and comes back later because I do not want to hug the wall. I never thought I would need a charging cable this long, but now that i have it, I can easily find numerous uses for it. When I go over to my friends house, I am no longer a wall hugger. I can sit comfortably on their couch and have power to my Iphone.  I have so much more freedom while charging my phone, instead of having to hang my self on a wall 2 feet away.


I have had absolutely no problems with this cord. The only complaint I could have is that sometimes it's a pain to wrap of the 10 feet but that's it. It is really hard to complain about having to much as with anything else. Sometimes it can be a tripping hazard so just make sure it is out of the way. It has a nice braided cover so you know that if you wrap it up you are less likely to damage the wire.


Over the past week that I have been using the cord, I start to like it more and more. It’s easy to use. I have tested the charing capabilities with my laptop, desktop, lighter plug in the car, my portable backup battery charger, and my 110/USB wall mount charger. You simply plug it into the usb port and plug the other end into your phone and it will charge. Every USB powered slot that I have plugged this cord into has accepted and charged my phone. It is perfect for taking it with you while you are out visiting or it would also be perfect for when you go on vacation and you are staying in a hotel. You never know if there is going to be a place to charge next to the bed or not. So if you are needing your phone as an alarm clock it will have enough cord to reach the night stand from a plug that is further away.


If you are looking for a really solid built charging cord for your apple products this is a certainly a cord to consider. The connecting ends are very solid, the cable has a braided coating, and charges from any powered USB port. Black River Backpack Review

This is your typical sized back pack. The normal size most students use for school. The quality is better then what you will find at most of your big box stores. As far as I know it only comes in the black and blue color.


To start with theere are a lot of pockets on this backpack. To start with the main bag area is very well padded versus most like this style of backpacks. The lining appears to be fairly durable and able to take the occasional gouging item hitting it. Now on each side of the bag is a mess net that would work great to hold things like water bottles. Behind those 2 mesh nets are 2 side pockets that are great for putting small electronics in. On the back of the backpack there is a small zipper pocket at the top that has an headphones/earbud slot into it. This makes it nice for playing your music while out and about. Below this pocket is another mesh area about 1/2 as much larger then the 2 on the sides of the backpack.


The stitching looks to be done well on this backpack. They are actually using a decent guage of thred. The zippers of the backpack are the only lacking thing on the backpack. They are an okay zipper but nothing special. They do however take a little bit away from the durability of the backpack.
Overall this is a very nice backpack. It is durable and will last through a lot of camping trips or school books. It is a much better grade of backpack then you will find in almost any bigbox store at this price range. Children's Drum Set Review

This is a small sized drum set geared for small children. It says it is for ages 3+, but I think it is pretty much agest 3-8 because of the build of the drums. Upon ordering the drums in comes with Comes with 6 Drums: Bass Drum, 2 Large Tom-Toms, 3 Small Tom-Toms, Cymbal, Chair, Kick Pedal, and Drumsticks.


To start with there is some minor assembly when putting the drum set together. Sadly there is no real directions on how to put it together. It is not difficult to assemble which is a good thing. The hardest part is figuring out if the pikes that the smaller drums that attach to the bass drum are on the right side and in the right places. The drums do not have any assembly they are fully assembled and only need to be placed on the pikes set for them. The cymbal is a simple assembly with a pastic rod and attaching it to the top of the bass drum. The stool that is about a foot in height is connected by a tube that slides into the bottom of the seat and feet. The second mid size drum is assembled with another tube that attaches the feet, and drum holder. From there you set the drum in place on this stand and it is completed. The last thing is the kick pedal that attaches to the bottom of the bass drum.


Now for the drum set. It is not built very durable at all. The drum housings are not built to take any kind of abuse. The top are that you drive for your noise would not take regular drumsticks so do not make the mistake of picking some up if something happens to the plastic things they send with the set. The out edge walls of the drum are made of thin plastic and if you are not careful you can puncture them really easy. The supports around the drums are made from a really cheap plastic. I had to move the pikes for the drum set when I got it. They were on the wrong side of the drum. When I was trying to release the pikes from the wrong areas it was scary, it sounded like it was cracking and breaking the whole time. Next the stool is only built for small children becasue of its material. Lastly what they call a kick pedal is not actually a pedal. It will not be long before the plastic will lose its spring and be useless.


I was unable to have the kid try it out since it is designed to be a christmas present. So I assembled it to make sure it was all there. I rapped on the little drums a little bit so I could hear the sounds made. This is a great toy for a child to make noise. It will not make great sounds like a regular drum set, but again this is a toy and not an instrument. The drum noises were not overly loud becuase of the contruction and materials.


This is a very cute toy for kids to have to play around with. Hopefully it will promote music interest in the kiddo. The only reason I picked up a set like this to start out with. It is a low cost way to find out if there is any music interest in your childs thoughts. Overall it is not a bad toy for children to start out with to peak their music interests. Cooking Utensils 6 piece set Review

This is a very nice inexpesive set of cooking utensils. In total there are 6 pieces that are made from nylon. The pieces included in this set are Soup Ladle, Slotted Spoon, Solid Spoon, Slotted Turner, Solid Turner, and a Pasta Server.


To start with the spoons are made from Nylon and will not transfer the temperature of what you are working with to your hands. They are rated up to 415F so you do not have to worry about them melting and sticking to the bottom of the pan if you leave them there a little bit to long. Being made from nylon materials you do not have to worry about them scarring and ruining your non-stick surface pans. Each of the untensils have a dual prong at the back of them that you can use to set it on the edge of your pan with. This is nice because I do not have to figure out how to balance a spoon on the side of the pan since the spoon does that for me. My balancing usually ends up as a mess to clean up once it lands on the surface of the stove!


They are very easy to take care and clean up. I use a dish cloth, warm water, and some soap to clean mine. How they are constructed and the ability to take high temperatures makes them dishwasher safe if you have that option. Being nylon they do not hold the heat of the dish water very long at all, only a few seconds from my experience before I could handle them without feeling heat.


If you are looking for a great set of kitchen utensils this is a great set to consider. They are very well constructed, inexpensive so you do not break the bank, and come with a replacement guarantte of LIFETIME NO-HASSLE FREE. The Voyages Of The Seven (E-book) Review

This is a science fiction book by author R.E. Weber. This is the second book of his series from The Star Agency Chronicles. Currently it is available on E-readers and paperback. The book is decent in length at a little over 300 pages on my reader. If you have not read the first book in the series The Star Agency you will need to start there. Otherwise you may be lost on some of the details not explained in the second book that were from the first book. This might be confusing and frustrating at times in the second book without this knowledge.


This story is a great read for anyone that likes sci-fi books. This one is not as good as the first book in the series but I think that is because of the ending "fade to black" I know this opens up for more stories in the series but I think it is way to vague an ending for this book. However I do look forward to the next story in the series to read, and I will read it because the stories are really good as you are going through them. The author does a very good job of keeping your interest peaked as you read. It does flow very smoothly through out the book. The characters are detailed very well. The story does well at drawing the images in your head with out over loading and slowing the pace of the book down.


A short note about the story since I do not like to write spoilers. It is about 7 friends, their jobs, and lives. It takes place on a space station 500 light years from earth. So as you can see it has all the needed components for a good sci-fi read. It has space, friends from distant locations, and unknown beings.


If you are looking for a good series to start reading that deals in sci-fi this is one to consider for sure. It is very important to start at the first book in the series.
