Bluetooth Speaker Review

This is a portable speaker with several functions. It is larger then most of the bluetooth speakers I have tried out in the past. It is about 8/2/2 inches for its measurements. Appears to be very durable in its build. Upon ordering this speaker it came with the speaker, a D-clip, 3.5mm male jack cables, USB to micro USB charging cable, and an instructions manual.

This is by far the best mini speaker I have been able to test out. It has incredible sound when you are listening to it. It covers all 3 ranges of music without any problems. With the volume up high you can actually feel the speaker shaking from the bass it is creating. That is impressive for a mini speaker. Most of the time you can barely hear the bass being hit let alone being able to feel the bass. You still need to understand these are not 15 inch subwoofers so they are not going to vibrate your house. When it comes to high and mid range the speaker plays them clearly without the bass drowning either of them out. Another feature I like about this speaker is when you press the volume button on the speaker it maxes out and beeps at you, while the tablet is maxed out as well. Most stop long before the device is maxed on its output.

The speaker has many functions other then just being a great speaker. It can be used to answer calls, change record track, or a flashlight. There are 5 buttons on the top of the unit. Starting from the left is the mute button. Next is the play, pause, and hands free button that you can use to answer your phone. Then you have previous record and volume up button. Next is the next record and volume up button. Lastly the 5th button is a flashlight button. This turns on an LED flashlight at the end of the speaker. The flashlight is a dim LED bulb but it is enough to in front of you and make sure you path is safe and clear.

On the back of the unit it gives information about the speaker. Model number C26, voltage DC 5V, and battery capacity 2200MAH. Also on the back under a silicone cover there are spots for your jacks. On the left it has the 3.5mm jack slot where you can hook it directly to your player or even your car so you can answer your phone through your car speakers. The next slot over is the charging port for the micro USB slot. Then there is a toggle switch to turn the speaker on and off.

When it comes to pairing the device it is super easy. Every device I attempted to pair it to was successful. I tried 3 different cell phones, 2 tablets, and my laptop. Each search took about 3 seconds to find it. Then I clicked pair and it was complete every time. Now for pairing the unit you need to make sure it is in pairing mode. This is simply done by looking at the top of the speaker and if the blue light is flashing quickly it is in pairing mode. If the light is flashing every few seconds it is paired to a device.

The charging for this unit takes a bit or time. It takes about 5 hours for me to get it charged through my desktop or laptop. This speaker will play for almost 8 hours on that charge for me. If I plug it in direct to a wall socket USB charging port is usually takes about 4 1/2 hours to get to max. My portable back up battery charger said it was charging but I think it would take to long to even consider that as an option. It can accept a charge from a lighter plug in a car but It would require a very long road trip to get this to full charge as well.

A couple of things to mention that this speaker has to offer is the fact that it is water resistant. It has an IP64 rating which means: Protected from total dust ingress and Protected from water spray from any direction. This means if it get a little wet it will be fine, but do not take it under water. Next on the opposite end of the flashlight there is a silicone strap extending from the unit. This is where you can attach the D-clip to the unit and hang it if that is what you need.

This is a remarkable bluetooth speaker with a lot of functions and I recommend this speaker if you are looking for a good quality sounding speaker. It has decent range as well because I was able to get about 75 feet away from the device it was paired with before the music started breaking up on me from trying to disconnect from the pairing. I would like to thank ShenZhen MingChenHengYe Technology Co., Ltd. and affiliates for sending me this speaker to try out and share my opinion.
