CREE LED Tactica Flashlight Review

This is a fairly nice flash light. It offers 5 different torch settings. It is water resistant. The torch it projects is enough light for any path. This light is powered by 3 AA batteries (not included). From what I have seen it is only available in the metallic silver housing.

To start with the light on the bright setting offers 900 lumes of light. I can see about 100 feet really clear on the brightest setting. There are 5 settings in all with this light. They are high, medium, low, strobe, and S.O.S. You can also spin the top to zoom the light a little bit. This will widen or lessen the torch depending on the way you zoon it. If you widen the torch the it will show a bigger area but not be as bright. It will do the opposite when you narrow it to make a more direct beam. Going through the modes are a simple press of the on/off button.

This light is also water resistant at an IPX-6 rating. This means you are fight to splash water and take it out in the rain. However if you submerge it for any length of time it could possibly do some harm to the light.

The flashlight is light weight and small enough to carry in your pocket easily. It also offers a wrist strap as well if you might be in a situation where it could be dropped or knocked from you hand. This flash light is made with an aluminum alloy housing so it can take some bumps and drops. If you are like me, it will see lots of those through out its life.

If you are in the market for a nice flash light that projects a nice torch for visibility this is one you should consider. It offers a compact size, light weight, bright torch, multiple light settings, and water resistant. I would like to thank Accessorise Your Life and affiliates for sending me this flash light to try out and share my opinion.
