Power Station Review

This is a 2 socket surge protector power supply with 5 USB charging ports. This surge protector has smart charge technology as well. Upon ordering this unit it comes with a warranty card and users manual.

I will start off with the surge protected 110 AC outlets. Two ports is almost perfect for any PC since you usually have a power line for the monitor and one for the tower. This also leaves one free socket in the wall incase you need to plug in a printer or speaker power. Since it is a surge protected power supply it adds a little more safety to your equipment. This is also great for those who do a lot of traveling. Since most Hotels do not offer surge protected outlets it makes it a bit safer for your laptop and other devices for charging.

Next are the 5 ports for charging devices through USB ports. This offers 5 USB ports that can charge 2.4A at each port. I was able to hook up my ear buds, Bluetooth speaker, cell phone, tablet, my battery back up charger at one time. I was also able to charge any other device I plugged into it that needed a USB port.

It is very simple to use this power bank. Plug the power cable into the wall socket. Next you turn the power switch located on the side to the on position and then plug in what you need powered.
The USB charging ports also offer smart charging technology. This means a few things that are great for your devices. First off it will detect the maximum speed in which your device can be charged at and charge at that speed. A couple of other nice features are preventing  overheating, overcurrent, and overcharging to protect your device.

If you are looking for a compact surge protector this is one worth considering. It also offers the 5 USB charging ports, 2 AC outlets, and smart charging technology. I would like to thank YeliyaShining for sending me this surge protector to try out and share my opinion.
