Bamboo Matcha Spoon and Whisk Set Review

When ordering this set you get the whisk that also has a small plastic container to keep it in, the bamboo spoon, and a small burlap bag to keep all the pieces together. This is a whisk set designed to be used in making ceremonial green teas or any other powdered type teas.

This is my first bamboo whisk and spoon set. I can not help but to think about the sceen in one of the Karate kid movies where they are setting there doing a tea drinking ceremony as a major storm in moving in. The spoon is not your normal every day spoon, it is actually a hooked piece of bamboo with out a cupping in it to hold the powder. You can easily fix the tea to your tastes by how many scoops you make with this spoon. The whisk is a some what formed whisk with little motion in the bristles. It does work well to mix your tea and create a froth at the same time.

Since they are bamboo they are super simple to clean up. All that is required is running some hot water over them until clean. Once clean you can set them to dry. This does not take long either since it is bamboo. Then place your whisk back in the plastic tube provided to protect the bristles.

If you are looking for a traditional way to mix your powdered teas, this is a nice set to consider. I would like to thank Cornucopia Brands and its affiliates for sending me this set to try out and share my opinion.
