This is a set of 7 plastic containers offered from Samsali. Do not think of it in terms of pots and pans with lids being 7 pieces. This is 7 containers with 7 lids in various sizes.
I really like these containers. I started with similar containers years ago from Wal-Mart. This containers are so versitile it is almost impossible to do anything in a kitchen without them. These benefits include being stackable, air tight, dishwasher safe, microwave safe, and can be stored in the freezer.
I use these things to store everything in. Since they seal tightly and the lids snap on. This keeps the contents in place and safe even if you drop it many times. I usually buy the hamburger that comes in 5 lb. log. I use my containers to break it down to five, 1 lb. sections. I use 5 containers and put the hamburger in and then they go in the freezer until I need them. There are 3 I use to pack lunches with. I use one for my sandwich, pork chop, or main course. Then I have a second that is round and fairly small, I use this one for my fruit so it stays fresh. The last on I use is the same size as the main course but I put my chips, potatoes, or rice in. I do not have to worry about my lunch getting squished by my bottle of water and juice in the box.
