These are a compression type gloves. They are designed to fit tightly against the body to help hold form. These gloves also has a silcone matting on the inside of the hand. They come in multiple sizes to fit anyones hands.
To start with the gloves are very comfortable once you have them on. They material feels great against the skin. The compression part of the gloves that fit tightly against your hands for me was a little bit off from the size description. I wear a normal glove size of large. I ordered a large of these and I can get my hands into the gloves but the webbing area of gloves do not sink all the way to the webbing of my hand. The finger length simply is not long enough for my fingers. Once you do have the gloves slipped onto your hands, there is a zipper on the back of the hand to tighten the area up to the wrist.
The zipper is extremely horrible. For as tight as the gloves are to fit, this zipper is far below the grade of zipper needed to be effective. On the third time zipping up the gloves, on my left hand, the zipper fell off gloves. So the left glove does not do the compression part around my wrist area. Next the zipper is so large, bulky, and clunks around the whole time in motion.
The matting on the inside of the hand is a great addition to the gloves though. The silicone would make it great for someone playing football for better grip for holding onto the ball. Would make it a little more difficult for it to be stripped from the runner.
This is the only compression type gear that I have been somewhat unsatisfied with. I think if the zipper would have been a ton better and more durable I would not have any issues with these gloves. Being a little small is okay because I do have large hands. If all else fails being to small on the figers could be gotten around but clipping the tips off and then the glvoes would sit fully into the webbing of my hand and hold all of its properties.
