Vimtag (Fujikam) Review

This is a very nice camera package model number VT-361. The kit included the camera, wall mount/screws, LAN cable, power cord, antenna, installation manual, company contact information, warranty card, and camera setup information. The camera kits come in black and white, black, silver, and white.


I am going to start with all of the reading material included. First off is the installation manual. This shows you how to plug in all the cables and where to find the information to run this unit. There is not actual mailed users manual but there is a website to go download a PDF form users manual. Next is the company contact information, this is a business card with the company name, support email, and phone number if you need assistance.  Then we have a card with simple steps for setting up the camera. This is a 9 step procedure that is repeatable if you wish to add multiple cameras. Lastly is the warranty of the camera. It is a 1 year warranty on the camera.


Installation is very easy with this camera. It comes with an arm that attaches to the wall or other smooth surfaces. It has 2 screws with molly's to anchor it to your desired surface. To start with if you are using the screws and molly's included begin by putting the mount to the wall and marking the holes with a marker. Then drill your holes as needed and press in the molly's. Now you place the platform to the wall and put in the screws. From there you set the camera on top of this mount and attach the twist in bolt into the bottom. That is all that is required to mount it to the the wall. It is also fine for setting on a regular surface because it has rubber feet as well. Once you have decided where you are going to place the camera, you start plugging in the cables. Key things to hook up are the antenna, power cord, and LAN cord.


On the back of the unit there are a lot of options. Starting from the left is the DC 5V plug, this is where you plug in your power cable. Next is the LAN cable, this is where you plug your camera into your router. Next are the alarm pins, you will need to read the users manual to understand this if you have never dealt with them before. Now we have the SD card slot to be able to save pictures/sounds directly to that card. Above that is the antanne that screws into place for wireless control. Now on the far right are the audio jacks, this includes audio in/out for what you are viewing on the camera. Above the audio jacks there is an FN button. Lastly is the reset button that is located on the bottom of the unit.


With this camera you have the option to control it from a device like a smartphone or tablet. They also have programming that you can set up and download so you can control it from a laptop or desktop computer as well. In the reading material that was included it tells you where to get the app. or program depending on the device you set it up on. You will have to create an account with the company as well to register the warranty and be able to download the app. or program.


The app/program are very easy to use. There are very easy to set up for instance the device settings page takes care of about 90% of all the settings and takes about 5 minutes to set up. If you have multiple cameras from here you can watch all of them at once. You can watch live stream through this camera. I like the fact that I can attach a microphone to the camera and I am allowed to see and hear everything that is going on. Yes there are built in microphone and speakers but I chose to go with mine.


The uses for this camera set up are limitless. You can use it like a nanny cam, a pet cam, or how I use it as a security cam. I have had some neighborhood kids bothering some things on my property and now I am going to be able to catch them in the act and then get their parents involved.
The camera can be setup to start on detecting motion. Once it detects movement and alarm will go on and mark it. Setting up the alarms makes finding what you are looking for simple. The other options are pan, tilt, and zoom. These are functions you can use while you are wathcing during live stream from your camera. This makes it very nice to scan in and get details. It is a fairly good picture resolution at 720P. The camera alos offers HD capabilities. It is factory set in standard but can easily be change to HD if your equipment can handle HD.


Upon firing up the unit it does some self testing to make sure all is functioning. It will test it pan, tilt, and zoom for instance. Now once you plug it into your router and set up the device, you can change it to Wi-Fi and remove your LAN cable if you wish. I set my unit up on the window ledge to watch the backyard for unwanted guests. I have captured a few great images of some of the local wildlife including racoons playing, birds, and dear.


If you are looking for a very easy to setup and install camera, this is one you need to consider. It has great quality video, pictures, it can offer some security, watch live stream, live audio, and HD compliant. Mesh Strainer Review

This is a very nice fine mesh strainer. It has a great easy to use design. CUrrently it is avialable with a green or black handle.


The design of this strainer makes it great to have around the house. To start with it has a silicone handle that stops heat transfer if you are straining something fresh from the stove top. Next it has a triangle bar at the top of the strainer that works great for hanging it on the wall. This triangle attached to this strainer makes it where you can straddle the sink with the strainer. You do not have to worry about it sitting in the bottom of the sink picking up some funk as you are using it.


The strainer is about the same size as a standard home kitchen strainer. Making a single box of Mac & Cheese fits in it with no problem, but it starts becoming a tight fit at the second box. I like that it is a mesh strainer because I can drain canned veggies in the strainer and not have to worry about the veggies getting out. Not to mention I can wash most of the perservatives off of these canned veggies with this strainer. Beware though it is like any other strainer out there. If you poor your ingredients in it really fast it can tip and move on you making a mess.


When it comes to cleaning the strainer it can be a bit of a hassel because it is such a fine mesh material. I have found that using a sprayer sink attachment works really well. If you rub it with a wash cloth from the inside it can mash some food particles into the fine mesh and make it a little difficult to deal with. This strainer is 100% dishwasher safe as well if you have that as an option for cleaning.


If you are looking for a great strainer for pastas, fruits, and veggie washing among many other uses, I recommend picking up this strainer. It has a very useful design that makes it very easy to use. Grillinator Log Tote Review

This thing is a monster! It is very large, built extremely durable, and nice carrying handles to mention a few traits of this tote. The tote is about 3 feet in length, 2 feet in width, with a height of 2 feet. On the wide sides are 2 flaps that extend up from the corners that have the handles attached to them.


Personally I used this tote through the summer in the back of the truck to carry all the beach equipment in. There was more then enough room to carry the children's life jackets, floaties, beach balls, towels, and foldable umbrella. I could have put more in it if I needed or wanted too with all that in it already. I will have to pick up another one for next summer for sure, since I have started to use this for firewood. I tried loading it down and taking off with it. It was a bit more then I wanted to tangle with in one trip when it was fully loaded. If you load this thing down to the max with firewood to carry you better be part of the U.S. power lifting team. I have found that this is actually best sitting next to the fireplace and refilling it with smaller trips.


The bag is great for preventing tracks from carrying in firewood. To this day I had never gotten a load into the house without leaving a track of my path with the firewood. Now that I had this and did a smaller load with it a few times, the only tracks left behind now are the ones from my shoes if I do not kick those off at the door. I have gotten into the habit now of setting the bag on the porch when the door is open and use the bag to hold the screen door open. I then take my shoes off and grab the bag and carry it to my small tarp I have on the floor.


Now for the durability of this tote. I did load it to the max and was able to pick it up off of the ground. It was a bit more then I wanted to tangle with at any given time. The bag did not have any at all with the load. I did inspect the bag after it was emptied to see if there was any kind of damage. I was unable to see any tears or permanent marks in the sides or bottom of the bag. I then started checking all the stitching to see if it was pulling apart or tearing through the shell of the bag. I did not see any issues at all with the stitching of this bag. I would not try carrying broken glass or other sharp objects in it because it might cut the material.


If you are looking for a large carry almost anything tote this is one to consider picking up. It is very large so you can make a lot of light stuff in one trip much easier to handle, the tote is designed to handle very heavy loads, and has a strong set of handles to carry it with. Key Battery Power Bank Review

This is a really nice power bank. It is model number PB120A Gray. Yes it gives a color in the description but I do not find where it is available in other colors at this time. Upon ordering the power bank it came with a USB plug in light, a very short USB to micro USB charging cable, and a black adapter cable with male ends.


This is a 12,000 Mah capacity back up battery power bank. It will charge a cell phone several times before it is depleted. I used it to charge 3 phones, 2 tablets, and my Bluetooth ear buds 3 times and the battery was still about 25% charged. I was able to also charge other items from this battery including my Bluetooth speakers. I am sure this will charge any item that uses a USB charging port cable. I know it did well on the Ipad, Iphone, 2 LG phones, a generic tablet, 2 Bluetooth speakers, and my ear buds without any issues at all. Once it is charged up to max it does drain out quickly. It holds its charge very well. I tried this out by charging it and then letting it set for 2 weeks and then came back and checked the charge. It was still showing full charge.


Charging this battery back up took about 1 1/2 hours to get it to max. I did test multiple sources for charing it. These included wall socket to USB adapter, my laptop, my desktop, and my lighter socket adapter in my car. It seemed to take a charge from any USB charging location I could attach it to.
This charger has a couple of other features that are neat. First off it offers a 2.1A charging in either slot. Next is has a shake to wake up function. You shake the power bank to power it on and then plug in your devices. Once you plug in the device it does not time out and shut off until the charge is at max on the device. It also came with a short want that is a USB light that plugs into the unit. You have to plug in after you wake it up or it does not come on unless you replug it.


If you are looking for a very nice battery backup power bank you need to look no further. This power bank offers a good capacity, a great charge life, charges multiple items, and made with a very durable housing. Anonymous (E-book) Review

This is a debut mystery, suspense, thriller book from author Christine Benedict. The book is a decent length story at a little over 300 pages on my reader. Currently the book is available in e-book and paperback. I look forward to seeing further works from this author.


The book is a very interesting read that will keep you locked until the final page. The author has done a great job on making the plot flow very smoothly. The characters of this story are very well developed and described in great detail. Most of the time when authors use a lot of detail it tends to drag the pace down and make it a bit boring, thankfully that is not the case with this story. This book in my opinion is set for young adults and on.


This is a small town story with a setting in a country home. It offers all the suspense of murder, ghosts, and mental issues to mention a few. It is certainly a new twist for a suspense thriller which is perfect for making it unique.

The Watchers: Knight of Light (E-book) Review

This is a Sci-Fi fantasy realm book from Author Deirdra Eden. Currently it is available in e-book and paperback. This book is a short story at a little over 200 pages on my reader. This is book one of the series and I look forward to reading further into the series.


This is a book for all ages above age 10 or so. Although with some of the graphic detail in the book they might have nightmares. The author offers decent character development with in the story. This book is a decent ground work for the rest of the series.


The plot is a mash of some current novels with some intresting twists. Most of the transistion between topics flow very smoothly through out the entire book. If you are into fantasy realm genre of books this will certainly hold your interest. This book contains most of the well known mythical creatures pixies, dwarfs, and several others.

Gaming Mouse Review

Model number M881Lu gaming mouse. This is a fairly decent gaming mouse. This mouse offers a lot of features with its programing. It is a USB attached mouse with a braided cord. Upon ordering this mouse it came with the mouse, instructions manual, and a CD with programs to control the features of the mouse.


To start with the control panel for the mouse is well designed. You can set up multiple profiles, adjust the sensitivity, the lights, and what buttons control what functions. They are easy to select tabs for each category.


The first thing is the lights of the mouse. You can turn them on/off completely or have the lights on and the mouse breathing. There are a total of 6 light colors red, blue, pink, orange, green, and teal. The idea behind the lights and the multiple colors is the different DPI settings on the laser light. It makes it very easy for you keep track of what DPI you are at by the color that the mouse is showing.
Now for the DPI settings you can adjust each color to the speed you want. These range from 1000 to 8200. I personally went into my setting and adjusted them all to 5200 DPI for my uses. Setting them all to one setting makes sure if I accidently bump the control for the DPI and change the color I will still have a consistent mouse speed. For me at 5200 DPI I can control top to bottom and side to side motion with the movement of my wrist and fingers. I do not have to move my entire arm to track the entire screen.


The next thing in the control page to set up would be profiles. This is so you can adjust the mouse for a few different games. With this option setting your hot buttons and mouse clicks for each game to best suite your needs. Changing mouse profile is very simple. You go into the control panel and click on the profile you are after 1-5 and click on load profile.


Next are the control buttons on the mouse. You have a lot of choices. You can set them to be hotkeys for key click combos for games, they can be used to help control your web surfing, they can be set to a launch program, or you can simply turn the button off. To name a few of the options available.
From there you set your sensitivity of the mouse. How quick the double clicks are, how fast the scroll mouse scrolls, and adjust your DPI speed of your mouse. Once you have the mouse set up to your liking for the profile. You click the apply button and that profile is set. If you mess it up completely there is an option to reset it to default settings so you can start the process over and get it the way you want it.


Setting this mouse up is super simple and great for many games. I have one profile for my first person shooter game with a macro button to change my weapon with the click of a mouse button. On another profile for my MMO game I have a macros set up to do a spell cast set. On a couple other games I have profiles set up as well, but you can see what is possible with only that little bit of a description of 2 of my profiles.


Now for the mouse. It is a USB wired mouse. It will work in 2.0/3.0 USB slots. On my PC I plugged it into my laptop and it found a driver and started working without the included CD program. Although you can not make all the adjustments to the mouse with out the programming. There was no extra programs included with the mouse that I remember seeing. It only had the drive and control panel information on it. They say the mouse it good for 5 million clicks, have not had any problems out of it and I am not going to count the clicks to find out! The braided mouse cord is a nice addition because it makes it a little more durable over the typical cables. The design of the mouse is actually very comfortable for my hand. It fits nicely into the palm of my hand. The mouse is also very light so moving it and its reactions are simple and quick.


If you are looking for a well designed mouse for your computer gaming, work, or general computing needs this mouse will take care of all of your needs. Also if you play in a dark room like I do the mouse breathing light is a great thing for your ability to find the mouse quick and easy. Monsterland Book Review

This a suspense supernatural action book from author Michael Phillip Cash. It is kind of a short story at a little over 200 pages. Currently it is available in e-book and paperback. My book also came with a small care kit included a couple pieces of Charleston chews, vamp teeth, a wrist band, and a pencil.


The book is a great base step to a series. It does need a bit more development. I am hoping the development comes into play in further books or it is only going to be left at the stage of an okay book to read. There is a lot going on in the book offering an intriguing base for solid ground work. The plot of the story is easy to follow and flows smoothly through out the book.


The story is based on a theme park filled with real supernatural beings. Where a group of people are working to survive the theme park. There is plenty of action and suspense through out the story to keep you entertained. The story also does a pretty good job at keeping you locked in to the book.


If you are looking for a book that offers a great story and strong footing in the groundwork of the plot, filled with action suspense. I do recommend picking up a copy of this book and put yourself into this supernatural world. 2-in-1 Salt and Pepper Grinder Review

This is a very nice grinder set in one piece. It can be used for 2 different spices commonly salt and pepper. This is a great space saver, very durable, and backed with a warranty. Upon ordering this grinder set it came with the grinder, 3 end caps, instuctions, and an informations page on where to register the product.


To start with the chambers are fairly large for being a 2 in 1 grinder set. There is enough space that it usually lasts a couple of months at my table before I need to refill the grinder. The chamber areas holding the spices you choose to use in it are see through so it is easy to see when one of the spices is running low.


On each end of the tube is a grinder. One for each spice that you have decided upon. The screw on in the normal fashion of right-tight and left-loose. Once you screw the grinder on you turn the grinder part in the same direction as to tighten it and this will grind your spice. Make sure not to try and turn the solid ring closest to the spice to tight, or grab it as you are trying to grind the spice or it could ruin the threading for the grinders attachment. Now to take the grinder off grab that solid ring and spin it to the left. This is how you refill the chamber for your spices. On each of the very ends of the grinder sections there are some cover caps. These caps are the only thing I ever really see having a chance of messing up. They do not clip in or twist in for the best holding security of the caps. They only press in to place.


The grinders appear to be a decent calibur build. They will be able to take years of abuse and cracking of spices. The grinders are also made inside of a stainless steel housing. The internal parts appear to be made from a very strong plastic like ABS. The see through tube for the spices is also made from plastic and about 1/4 of an inch thick. This means if you were to drop the grinder it is not going to break. If for any reason there is an issue with your grinder though it comes with a lifetime warranty. Which you are supposed to register before you fill it. Only takes a couple minutes.


If you are looking for a grinder set that is visual appealing, built very durable, a space saver, easy to fill, easy to use, and comes with a lifetime warranty. 40W 5 Port Charging Station Review

This is a really nice multi port charging system from Orico. Model number Orico CSE-5U. Currently it is available in three colors gray, pink, and black. This unit makes it so easy to expand your USB charging capabilities.
To start with setting up the charging station is very easy to do. Remove the device from the package including the power cord. Plug the power cord into the back of the device. It will only plug in one way. Next plug the power cord into the wall and it is ready to charge all your devices that use USB charging ports. There will be a light that comes on below the Orico name on the front of the charger to show that it has current and ready to go.
Next this charging station has what they call smart charging capabilities. The charging port will check against the device to see what the max charging speed it can take and apply it to the device. It will also stop charging once the device is full to prevent damage to the device and charging station. This charging station can charge up to 5 devices at one time with a max out put of 2.4A per port.
Personally it took me a couple of days to set up to test this charging station out. I had to drain my devices down so I would be able to attach multiple electronics from around my house. I attached 2 tablets, 2 cell phones, and a Bluetooth speaker at one time. It took about an hour for all 5 devices to get to full charge. From there I attached my 2 portable back up battery chargers and ear buds. Each device charged flawlessly and very quickly from this charging station. All devices I attached to this charging station took a charge without any issues.
This is really great for people who travel a great deal. It is very compact and lightweight so this charging station can easily pack into your luggage easily. This makes it where you do not have to carry a lot of different cables to charge your devices. You can carry a few of the USB charging cables that take no room up at all and charge all your devices in one area inside the room you are staying. No more searching for 2 different outlets to charge all your devices. Not to mention they are not strung all over the room.
If you are looking for a device to expand your USB port charging capabilities this is a great station to pick up. I know around my house fighting for USB slots on the computer tower used to be an every day struggle. Now with 5 slots it makes things a lot more manageable for charging our devices around the house. Marble Maze Building Set Review

This is kind of neat little play set. It offers unlimited building structers for creating mazes for your marbles to travel through. In total there are 67 pieces to this unit, counting the marbles added in the set.


The pieces go together easily and quickly. There are unlimted ways to connect the pieces. They are much like lego's in a larger version for marbles. It is an ideal toy for children 4ish to about 10. Past that unless you buy lots of kits would probably lose the interest of children above 10 for the most part. The maze pieces can lead to hours of entertainment and can start working the creative resources of small minds. Working the creative sources of the mind is certainly the most important reason for a toy of this nature. Second comes the hours of fun, just do not let the kids know that the fun part of it is second.


I do have a couple of complaints about this toy marble maze though. To start with I think they need to attach better to one another. The pieces are sloppy and can fall apart easily. Next there was no instructions included. I know that there is no set form to consider when building a maze like this but having a base modle to work from to get the kids started would have been nice. Lastly once the maze is put togehter and you run marbles through it, it will start to loosen up at the joints from the occasional bumping as you are inserting the marbles, so there is constant reforming the maze during use.


If you are looking for a toy for working the mind as well as good time sink, this marble maze will take care of both. Wireless Bike Computer Review

The description calls it a computer, it is more of a couple of circut boards and batteries. This is not going to do things like check your email or surf the web. This is designed mainly to keep track of your progress and what you are accomplishing on a bicycle.


This device comes with a ton of attachments to make it easy for you to attach to your bicycle. You will most certainly need to read the directions to make sure you are installing it correctly. Improper installation will not give proper read outs with this device. The first attachment I will mention is the one that hooks to the spoke of the tire. This is a very simple and easy installation. Put it on the spoke and screw it down tight. I personally put a tiny dab of lock tight on the nut to make sure it did not losen up and fall off on me as I am out. Next you install the sensor with a couple of zip ties in the manner described in the instructions. I would say how but I do want to be liable incase I have given improper instructions. So ready your instructions! Next is the mount for the control unit. This gone on a rounded part of the handle bars. You simple place it on the bar and there are 2 slots that you put the zip ties through and mount it to the handle bars. Then you slide the display screen onto the attachment and it locks in place. There are also some stick pads you can place between the plastic parts and the attachments to make sure there will be no vibrating noise as you are riding.


One of the first things you will need to do is install the batteries. This is a very simple process. There are 2 slots that twist off and expose where you install the batteries. Be very careful to make sure and not lose the rubber O-Rings in the batter compartments, these make the device water resistant. Once you twist the caps off place the batteries correctly matching the proper polls. These are flat batteries much like watch batteries or a computer motherboard. Once you have placed the batteries in put the caps back on and twist them into place. Again make sure the rubber O-Ring is in place.


This device is designed to offer your speed, trip meter, odometer, your top speed for the trip, your average speed, how long of a trip, a clock in 12H and 24H formats, and many other great tools for riding. The device has an auto on and off function that I think is pretty cool. It also has a fucntion to turn on a backlight for night riding when the device kicks on it checks the time and will turn it on or off the back lit LED screen. This makes it really handy for those physco's who get up at 4 in the morning to go riding!


If you are looking for a very cool attachment for your bicycle that can track your progress and what you accomplished while out on your bike ride, I really do recommend this device since it will take care of all your needs and then some. OXA Vintage Canvas Shoulder Bag Review

This is another bag I was sent from DBPower of OXA brand. I can simplify these bags in one word: Quality! This bag is very durable being made from canvas material. This bag is a shoulder bag that can be used by either sex.


I will start with the material this bag is made from. It is a think canvas, much like a pair of jeans material. The canvas is about the same thickness as jeans as well. There is a soft padded liner inside of each of the pockets of the bag. Next the stitching of the bag is very stout and able to take some abuse. The zipper tracks are metal unlike most bags now that have those cheap plastic tracks that jump and mess up after you run the zipper a few times. The clips and D-Rings are made from metal instead of plastic.


Now on to the storage spaces included in this bag. On the front bottom there is a pocket that is about 1/2 the bags heighth in size, goes from one side to the other on the front of the bag, and is about 2 inches in depth for holding capacity. I have found this as a great spot to store my charging cables and adapters for my electronics inside the bag. Next is another pocket on the front top of the bag. This one is great for putting your phone or device you use to play music in. It offers a metal ringed hole for headphones and earbuds if you do not have those with Bluetooth capabilities. Onward inide the bag you find a variety of pockets there as well. On the backside of the inside pocket there is a zipper pocket. This pocket is not very large at all and designed for a standard checkbook. Next ther is a sleeve on the outside of that pocket that goes from about 2/3 of the way to the top to the bottom of the shoulder bag. This works perfect for holding my 10 inch tablet. On the other side opposite of these are slots to hold credit card or similar. There is also on a bit larger and deeper that works perfect for a phone or passport. Lastly is the main storage area of the bag. It works perfect for a couple changes of clothes for a weekenders bag.


Personally I use it for an over night casino bag. I can put all of my electronics inside and carry them safely. I can put my change of clothes, all of my cards to stick in the machine to track my play for points, and all of my personal care products. This makes it where I have all of it in one place and easy to keep track. I am never asked to stow it below since it is a small bag, a little larger then the standard purse but small enough to still be a carry on.


If you are in the market for a very nice travel bag, casino bag, weekender, or a great place to stow all your electronics while you are out and agout. This bag will more then handle your needs. Travel Bag Review

This is a standard size duffle bag once it is completely unfolded. The bag is extremely light weight. This bag folds up into a very compact size. It is very versatile and has the ability to be used is so many ways.


The bag fully extended out to the duffle bag size is a little over 2 feet long. With a width and heighth of about 12x12 inches. With the bag fully extended it makes a very large bag. Once extended out you can see all of the carry capabilities of this bag. There are 2 small straps at each end of the bag. The next set of straps are your common across the center carrying handles you find on the majority of all duffle bags. Lastly there is an adjustable shoulder strap that clips to both ends of the bag.


This bag has a lot of storage spaces included. To start with there are 2 small zipper pockets on either end of the bag. They are great for storing small things like phone chargers and the likes. Then there is one small zipper pocket on the front of the bag that you can do they same with small items. On one end of the bag there is a pocket that is about 3 inches wide and is the full 12x12 inch end of the bag. Lastly you have the center compartment that is 11x12x24 for holding the majority of your items.


Now for the compact size of this bag. When you zip it down to its smallest form it is about 11x12x1 in size. This makes it perfect for traveling. I know when I go on vaction I come back with more then I left with. So this is compact enough to put in my suit case. It only takes up about as much room as a folded shirt. Now I have a bag that I can put my purchases in on my trip back without worrying if I am going to crush something trying to force it into my regular suit case. This bag would also work great for those school gym lockers. We all know that there is hardly any room in those to begin with.


When it comes to the contruction of the bag it is not the most durable. The material that the bag is made out of is very thin, but I am sure that is they only way it would shrink downt to such a small size. The stitching for the most part is average job. The zippers are the cheap plastic track zippers. With this being said it is still a great bag because of how compact and versatile it is. It is designed to carry cloths and things along that line, not a load of bricks.

Oasis, The Last Humans (E-Book) Review

This is your futuristic sci-fi from authors Dima Zales and Anna Zaires. Currently it is available in paperback and e-book. It is a short story at a little over 200 pages on my reader.


This story is actually very good once you get all the information and able to grasp all of what is going on in the story. It starts out slow and a jumbled mess of huh? at the start. It picks up the entire time as you are reading and building towards the end. The story does flow smoothly between scenes and does a really good job of preparing you on what is to come. The main characters of the book are developed well and provide some insight of this society.


The story deals with a very distant future. It has a combination of ideas from the replicators in Star Trek, AI, mental games much like the Divergent movie, among a few other things. There are some action scenes throughout this book but not very much because that would simply take away from the process and thoughts behind this book.


The story centers around 3 young boys college aged, one female, and the AI ship trying to rebuild its memory banks after being shut down. Many things are no longer viable in this future for instance cussing gets you put in "time out". This can be kind of disturbing to indviduals since most communications are now telepathic. Things like sexual curiosity can be very dangerous. It is a whole new world concept on a Utopian society. Enough with the story though, I do not give spoilers.


If you are looking for a book that deals with the future, sci-fi, and offers a interesting twist on the future this is one you should consider. As I stated towards the end of the book things start coming together to fully grasp the story. This makes me very eager to read the next book to hopefully continue filling out the entire world with in the Oasis.
