Soba Bluetooth Headphone Review

This is an interesting set of headphones. These headphones are fairly light in weight so you do not have to worry about them bouncing and causing soreness. Upon ordering these headphones they came with extra earbud caps of different sizes, a USB to micro USB charging cable, and in instuctions manual.

Okay first feature of these headphones are the retractable earbuds. They are on pull cables so you can lay the harness around your neck and pull the earbuds out to a comfortable range. If you are going to be sitting still then you do not have to pull them out to far at all. If you are going to be rubber necking then you will probably need to pull them to the full extent or close so that way the harness does not pull them from your ears. Once you are done with your headphones for the time you can press the button on top, on each side of the harness to retact the earbuds to the harness.

Next is the sound quality of these headphones. They offer a full range of sound from bass, mid, and treble. The bass quality is a little weak but this is common for most earbuds from what I have seen. There is some bass there it is not a driving bass though. The other two ranges come in nicely and with great clarity.

When it comes to charging these headphones it is super simple. All it requires from my experience is to plug the USB port in and then the micro USB to the headphones and they beging to charge. I was able to charge them from my desktop, laptop, 110/USB adapter, car lighter socket adapter, and my backup battery charger. Once you have both ends of the charging cable plugged in a red light will come on, on the headphones. This means it is not at full charge and is charging. Once it does reach a full charge the LED light will turn blue. It took about 45 minutes for the headphones to reach full charge. From there I listened to music for a little over 3 hours before the charge in the headphones started to fade.

For pairing it is simple as well. Make sure you have the power button switched to on. From there you will see the LED light alternating from red to blue. This means it is in search mode and ready to pair. I was able to pair these headphones to my tablet and phone without any problems. It took about 5 seconds for the pair to match up and ready for use.

Next to the on/off switch there is a button with a +/- on the buttons. This controls the volume of the headphones to your device. I did push the speakers to max and at about 90% of max volume there was some distortion. There is also a button that you can use to answer your phone if you like. There is a built in mic on the harness. Hearing was excellent with these earbuds for phone calls. The mic left a lot to be desired though. I had to take the harness from around my neck and hold the mic area directly infront of my mouth or the person on the other end could not hear me unless I was yelling.

Personally I use them for when I am on road trips. Heading to my nephews games or on a trip with the casino bus tours. It is a great way to keep myself entertained other then working my Soduku book. Not to mention I can use the volume to drown out the conversations I really do not want to be a part of directly or otherwise. I have tried to use them while doing some exercises and they are not the best for that. They bounce on your collar bone and the earbuds tend to pop out very easily with a lot of body movement.

If you are looking for a unique set of headphones that are very compact, decent quality sound, easy to charge, and easy to pair. I suggest checking into this retractable headphone earbud system. I would like to thank ALLreLi Technology and affiliates for sending me these headphones to try out and share my opinion.
