This is an aluminum alloy flashlight, it is very durable, and extremely bright. It only comes in the standard color of black from what I can tell. Upon ordering this light it comes with a few extras which include a carrying strap, carrying case, extra rubber garments for the light to make it water proof, and a USB to micro USB charging cable.
Okay to start with it has an IPX-8 rating. This means it can be submerged into water. They state it is water proof to two meters. To make this unit fully water proof you have to install one set of the rubber O-Rings sent with this light. They are really easy to install and replace if you need.
The flash light works a little different then most flash lights. With this flash light you have to hold the on button a couple of seconds for the light to turn on and off. If you press the button quickly while the light is off it will do nothing. If you press the button quickly while the light is on it will change the light out put. The first press will give you a much more dim setting, and pressing the second press with start a strobe light effect. This is very bright because it strobes at the lights maximum wattage. Next this is an LED light so you know that the bulb will last a very long time (usually years).
The rechargeable battery is super easy to charge. It attaches to almost any micro USB charging cable. I was able to attach this to my laptop, desktop, phone charger, 110/USB adapter, and the socket adapter to USB in my car. All of them had no problem charging this flash light. I have also had this for about a month now. It is still working very brightly off of my first initial charge. There is also an LED light on the side that will let you know if it is fully charged or not.
Now the light has a pocket clip attached to it. This is a very durable and strong clip. It also snaps in a ring area of the casing. So if you hook it on something it wont break the flashlight or clip. It will simply break away and you can re-clip it once you have the pieces under control. The housing is made from and aluminum alloy which means if you drop it as you are walking along it is not going to implode on you. It can take some impacts from short drops, 6 feet or so before I think it would start showing impact damage. I am not going to purposely test that because I really like my light!
The carrying case that comes with this light has many uses. It can attach directly to a belt. It also has a half moon clip that you can use to attach it with a D-Clip or something similar. Lastly there is a snap clip with a strap for a third option to carry this case. The flash light does fit very snug into the case.
If you are looking for a flashlight, this is a very nice option. In all the light is about 5 inches in length, it is about an inch in diameter, the light is rechargeable, holds the charge for a long time, and is made from a very durable alloy.
