BBQ Tools Set Review

This is a large grill set of 23 pieces. For a grill set this covers almost anything you could need or ask for from a grill set.

I will begin with the rub spice can. This is a cylinder can that holds about 3/4 cup of your spice rub mix. The cap is a press on fit that I do not care much for. It does fit tight right now but in the future I am afraid that the cap will not hold its tight fit. The cap has a spin top to choose between three different size whole patterns.

Next I will go with the grill brush. This is the most put together in the kit. This grill brush is designed to last for a long time. It has a twisted metal rods to increase the pressure it can take from cleaning. Then there are 3 brushes next to each other give you a large area of coverage while you are cleaning. These brushes are kind of close so they can gain particles in between them that you might need to clean out. The handle is a decent length to keep your hands away from the grill while you are cleaning. I know I clean mine while it is hot to make it easier for cleaning and being a good distance from the grill is a plus.

A few things in this beginning with the aluminium foil. The aluminium foil is your average everyday generic foil. Next is the 2 grill silicone grill brushes included in this set. They are nice and compact and work well as long as you do not get them heated up at all while you are adding your sauce. If you do get them hot the brush ends fall of and on to the grill from the handles. Lastly in this category are the 2 sets of metal tongs included in this set. These maybe some of the cheapest, thinest, and heat transferring tongs I have ever used. They are very flimsy and so short that your hand is almost on the grill to turn your meats.

Now the three items that are made well.  I will start with the skewers. These are a good lenght and fairly firm. This makes it nice when you load the skewer up it does not fold over on the grill. They are long enough that you can actaully leave the end off of the grill with your skewer full and on the heat making it really easy to turn and remove them from the grill. Now are the 4 small forks included in the set. These are great for cut up meat sitting on the table and using them as appitizer forks for some cut of meats and vegetables. Last is the bear claw meat shredders included. These are made from a strong plastic maybe an ABS molding. These claws are great for ripping hot meats like roasts to make shredded beef sandwiches.

If you are looking a complete grilling set this one will cover your needs. Over all the kit is a good choice for the products that are made very well: skewers, brush, forks, claws, and rub can. My only real complaint is the tongs so that tells you the rest is on par or better. I would like to thank Flyhigh and affiliates for sending me this grill set to try out and share my opinion.
