This is a handy kitchen gadget if you eat watermelon. It is simple and very easy to use. The watermelon slicer is made from stainless steel. Upon ordering my watermelon slicer it came with a combination corer and melon balling tool.
This is a very easy tool to use. All you have to do is cut the melon open and then this tool can go to work. It does however take a little bit to get used to how it functions. After my third use of this tool I was working it like a pro. It works very similar to a butter knife in a tub of butter on how it cuts through the melon.
The only thing that I can see needing any type of improvement would be the handle area of the tool. It is a full stainless steel tool and it could really use like a silicone sleeve on the handle for better gripping when the tool does get juicy.
If you are looking for a kitchen gadget to make your watermelon cleaning duties a bit easier this tool can get the job done. It is made from stainless steel making it to clean, very easy to use, and mine came with an extra tool to use for all types of fruits.
