Silicone Large Ice Cube Tray Review

This is a very unique and outstanding product to say the least. If you are a fan of the silicone baking pans, you will really enjoy these as well. Upon first getting these I was a bit skeptical about how well they would work. For starters being flimsy silicone how would they act when loaded up with water and picked up from one end. All I could see in my head was a mop in the near future. To my surprise being loaded with water these ice trays can be picked up from one end like a normal ice tray without folding over or making a mess. Now with that behind me, I was starting to feel more confident about these silicone ice trays. So the next thing is to start making some ice cubes. So I put the trays in the freezer and waited until the next day. Now for the important part learning how to get the ice cubes out because the silicone likes to hug it pretty good. To start with you can twist the ice trays like you would the old plastic ones. You will actually here the ice break away from the silicone like a normal plastic tray. From there I roll the ice cubes out to the side and they seem to come out really easy for me. Upon using these several times I have noticed that you can fill the cups of these trays to the very top. I however only fill them to about 90%, they seem to come out a lot easier for me then at 100% full.

I was sent 2 of these trays as a set to try out. I am extremely happy with them. They work for making large ice cubes and will last for a very long time being the material they are made from. I strongly recommend these ice trays if you are in the market for new or better ice trays. I would like to thank Select Culinary and all the affiliates responsible for sending me these to try out. They are amazing, thank you! thank you!
