The Berenstain Bear book review

image
Well to start off this is from a book series that has been around for over 50 years. So the name should be familiar to almost everyone. Most of us as children have had the books read to us or have read them to a child as a goodnight story. I can remember nights being tucked in and stories like this being read to me. I can also remember reading them to my son when he was a little fella.

The stories from the Berenstain Bears are great for teaching some life habits. Much like this book teaches how to properly ask for something. As well as how to respond once receiving it. In this book it deals with milk and cookies, but can be transposed over into many other aspects of a persons life. Learning manners for please and thank you are great habits to carry through life as this book projects in its meaning.

This book is 20 pages long. It is a great read for bed time so not to take up to much time and get the kiddo’s fast to sleep. This books pages are very thick to be able to withstand the little ones. The binding is very strong as well. The pages feel as though they are wax covered. This is great to make it easy to keep clean after sticky fingers have had control of it. The lettering is a large size and spaced nicely to help the child be able to read along as well. The art work does follow the rest of the Berenstain Bear books, with the bears always intent and happy to participate.
