Recently I picked up a 5 pack of these towels. I am very happy that choice. These towels are great for just about any type of cleaning project you may have. They are 16 x 16 towels, which makes them large but not so bulky that it is hard to handle them. They are very thin and very durable.
I have used these towels for cleaning almost anything. I have 2 in my dish towel drawer for doing my dishes and cleaning my counters. Does a great job and to this date the towels have not lost any of its strength. I then keep one in my truck and another in my car to keep my windows clean so I do not have any obstruction of my view. The last one I keep in my cleaning caddy. I use it for the bathroom cleaning sessions. I have also found out that they are great for cleaning up spills. They are very absorbant towels and wring fairly dry with just your hands. This makes the towels usable over and over till you get the spill completely picked up.
Once you have used the towels the care for them is very simple. It is recommended that you only use microfiber cloths in the load only. It also says you should not use fabric softener in the wash either. It says you can use a low heat dry, I do not take that chance. I hang my out to air dry. How I take care of mine varies from that a little bit. I have a delicates laundry bag designed for things made of silk or like items. I put my microfiber towels in this to wash them. I usually do this in my jeans load since putting fabric softener in the load is optional. The main reason I use the washing bag is to prevent lint transfer from the other clothes to the microfiber cloths.
Taking care of these the proper way makes a huge difference on how well they work. They are designed to not leave streaks behind. They are designed to not leave lint pieces behind on things like mirrors and glass table tops. Lastly they are designed to not scratch the surfaces you are cleaning. So if you are in the market for some really useful cleaning towels that will take care of all of your smooth surfaces, I do recomend these cleaning towels.
