How many glasses have you lost because they have been dropped? Broken in the dishwasher? Or shattered in the sink? I picked these up in hopes to make my mothers life a lot easier. My father has had multiple surgeries on his arms and wrists. He tends to drop a lot of dishes because he has so much loss of feelings in his hands. So having these on hand for him to drink from and carry around is going to save a lot of glasses from being broke.
This was a set of 2 glasses made of silicone. They are squishy and very flexable. They make a great conversation starter and offer years of use. They are dishwasher safe and are very easy to clean. Upon first getting them it is recommended that you let them out of the package and air for a day to make sure there is no lasting rubber smell when you go to drink from them the first time.
At first I was hesitant to fill the glass since the sides are squishy. The glasses are firm enough that it is not an issue as I have found out. The kids have a great deal of fun with them as well since they are out of the normal.
I am ordering more of these for my house as well. I plan to put a set in my travel kit that I use for special occasions. For instance an afternoon picnic with my special someone, a trip to the lake with the kids, or a simple backyard BBQ at the table.
