Yumms! BBQ Grilling Mat Review

Wow! Simply Wow! These grilling mats from Yumms are an extrodinary piece of grilling necessity. For all those people like me using foil is now a thing in the past. These mats are easier to use, easier to clean up, and a much better surface to cook on.
To start with, ease of use. The mat will fit any large grill without having to be adjusted. If they are to large for your cooking surface they can be cut easily with a pair of scissors to fit. These are non stick so turning meat on the grill is simple. I personally took a hole punch to mine and put about 8 or 10 holes in it through out the middle so the sauces can drip down and not pile up. This can cause some burning of the sauce but not the meat.

When it comes to the cooking surface, these mats spread the heat out across the entire surface nicely for a lot more even cooking temperatures. For those of us that go to the lake to do some cook outs and they have the grills already there for us, know how those grills typically look. These are the quick solution to that problem. This provides a nice clean surface to cook on and you do not have to spend an hour cleaning that grill at the lake. These are very light weight and a staple to my on the go grilling kit for the lake.

How I clean my grill mats. I remove it from the grill while it is still warm with my tongs. Next I go to my garden hose and spray off the surface. This takes most all of the big chunks from the surface, while cooling it down. I then pick it up and take it into the kitchen sink. From there I use some warm soapy water and a green scratch pad. I only use the pad to rub the surface, I do not put any pressure to speak of on the surface. This works nicely for getting the surface cleaned. From there I take my grill mat outside and put it on my clothes line to dry since it can leave some marks from the coal soot that I may have missed and I do not want to have to clean that up from all over the house. Once it is dried, I roll it up and slide it into my old Pringles can for storage until my next use.

If you are in the market for better, easier, and more efficient way of grilling this is the product consider. Not to mention these can be used in a regular oven for pizza, cookies, or any thing else you typically use a cookies sheet for baking on. It can be cut down to fit toaster ovens as well, which reduces the mess and makes it easier to clean up. I would like to thank Yumms and afiliates for sending me these mats to try out and leave my opinion.
