This thing is a first thing to purchase if you have an SUV. If you carry anything in the back by means of cargo this cargo liner is a great to have back there. It is very easy to install. It protects the interior of the cargo area very well.
To start with the installation. It took me about 5 minutes to install my cargo liner. Raise the head rest of the middle seats. Next you put the adjustable straps around each of the head rests. Then you cinch each one of them down evenly so the cargo liner sits centered. Once that is in place you can attach the sticky Velcro to the inside walls. Lastly smooth into place to get the wrinkles out of the floor area.
Once this cargo liner is in place it is pretty amazing. First off there is a flap area at the end towards the hatch. This flap is desinged to lay over most of the back area of the outside of the vehicle to help protect the paint while you are loading the cargo area. It will also hold water pretty good if you spill something in the cargo area. You can undo the straps and drag it out of the back end and it will pull 99% of the liquid you spill out, well unless you have spilt a large amount. As you can see from my picture we have a walker we put in our cargo area. This area's side walls are all scratched up from this action. If I would have had this long ago the panels on the side would be in really good shape still. It is never to late to start protecting this area from more abuse.
There are also a pockets on the wall of the liner on the back of the seat. Having collection places for small items you do not want to lose in a vehicle is never a bad thing. The placement though can be kind of difficult if you do have the cargo area loaded. With this in mind I really do not see anywhere else on the liner where a pocket could be added other then on the back of the seats.
If you are looking for a liner to protect the cargo area in a SUV this is a product I recommend picking up. It is very easy to install, water resistant, easy to clean, easy to remove, and does a great job of protecting the interior and rear bumper paint areas.
