I really like this set of 3 spatulas. There is a small, large, and spoon style spatula included in this set. Currently it is only offered in blue and I think it would be very cool if they could start offering these in the colors of the rainbow.
To start with the small spatula has a flat back trimmed along the backside of the handle. This make it great for a smooth scraping surface for measuring cups. It is possible to use the large one as well but to me it seems a bit more non-natural since it has an offset from the handle.
The large spatula is great for scraping bowls. I use this one after mixing cake mixes because it does a great job of getting the inside of the bowl clean. It has enough ridgedness to be able to scrap out really thick mixes or even mashed potatoes without having issues.
Now the spoon spatula is awesome for alot things. Personally I like being able to use this to flip and egg. It will get under the yolk and bring the rest of the egg to the yolk as it gets into the spoon area. From there it is a very simple flip and the egg is over. I rarely every break a yolk using a spoon type spatula to turn my eggs. This only works because these spatulas are designed to take high heats and the only reason I decided to try it as an egg turner.
If you are looking for a set of spatulas for around the kitchen these are a great set to pick up. I like the see through handles, how ridged they are, and great for high temperature foods. I would like to thank 9ABC and affiliates for sending me this set of spatulas to try out and share my opinion.
