Wireless Headset Review

This is a set of headphones that lay around your neck on the collar bone. This is a great design if you are not doing any jumping type of activities. These is a Bluetooth capable headset. Upon ordering this headset it comes with extra ear canal fittings, USB to micro USB charging cable, and an instructions manual.

To start with this headset lays around the neck in a horseshoe shape. There are 2 cables that extend up from each end that go into the ear like a normal ear buds. This design is great because it makes it much more stable for the ear buds to stay in the ears while you are doing activities. The only thing that is kind of a flaw is how it lays on the collar bone. If you are doing jumping activities this can be a bit annoying as it hits over and over on the collar bone.

Next is the sound quality of this headset. There is kind of a full range of sound. The bass is however a mid range bass. So if you are looking for a driving deep bass these will most likely not make you happy. This is a budget headset so it will not have the quality of 300 dollar headsets. However these are great for being able to hear crisp and clear music while you are doing activities. The volume that the ear pieces produce is more then I would be comfortable with for an extended amount of time. I never recommend playing speakers over 70% of the max to preserve the speakers. I did push these to the maximum and at about 90% there was some slight distortion that I could hear.

When it comes to pairing this headset it is super easy. It only requires the headset to be in pairing mode and the doing a search on your device. I was able to pair this to a droid phone, Iphone, droid tablet, Ipad, and my laptop.

Charging this headset is very easy. It requires plugging in the USB cable into a powered USB port and then plugging the Micro USB end into the headset. I was able to charge this headset from my laptop, desktop, 110 to USB adapter, and my backup battery charger. I did plug it into my lighter plug adapter in the car and it did show it was charging. However I never suggest this avenue because it is so slow, unless you have no other option. It takes about an hour for the headset to get a full charge. Then once it is fully charged it lasts for about 4 hours for me.

Now with most of the specs of this headset have been given I will now explain how I use them. I use them mostly around the house. I pair them to my tablet and start my music player. I then start doing my chores and fix it projects. It have about 45 feet of range so it covers a great deal of the house when I put my tablet near the center of the house. As I get further from the tablet there are breaks in the music from the data loss transfer over the distance. It works enough to help me take my mind off of the mind numbing chores.

If you are in the market for a decent budget headset this is a set you might want to consider. This headset offers decent range on the Bluetooth, easy pairing, comfort fit, easy charging, and decent quality sound. I would like to thank Riwbox and affiliates for sending me this headset to try out and share my opinion.
