This set is 2 boards with 18 LED lights on each. Making this a 36 LED light system. This is a really cheap way to add a little bit of change to your ride that everyone will notice. The control boards work in a lot of different colors.
First off we start with the installation of these boards. If you are not knowledgeable about the elctronics of a vehicle or you are not mechanically inclined, SEEK HELP! The instructions given with the lights are not very descriptive so for a novice this could be dangerous. Installing is basically removing the old light cover. Attaching the new lights to the 12 volt lines and then replacing the cover once the board is in place.
This system is perfect for my SUV. I have 2 interior lights in the roof of the truck. Since there are 2 boards this works out great. If you are looking to order a system like this pay close attention to the boards and how many are included. Some vehicles have 2 in the roof, one in each door(up to 4), and possibly one for a hatchback. If you want to make the all matching you need to make sure you get the right amount of LED boards.
This is a low cost addition to your vehicle. Since they are LED bulbs they will have probably 30,000 hours of use with each board. Most likely you will be able to transfer them to your next 3 vehicles before the bulbs burn out.
For the colors there are 12 main colors to the pad. However you can do many things with the other control buttons. There are options to fade in and out of white, gradually change colors, or set 3 colors to rotate to mention a few. You are also able to speed up or slow down how quickly the lights change.
If you are looking for a new way to add a little bit of style to your vehicle this is one that is a must have. It is with in everyones budget, has so many light options, pretty easy to install, and can all be controlled from a remote control.
