This is a 3x and 45x magnifying glass. It is also equipped with 3 LED lights that run off of 3 AAA batteries(not included). The housing of this glass is black and white. The lens is about 3 inches in diameter.
This magnifying glass is very light weight which is great for an older person that may need to hold onto it for a long period of time. The handle could use a counter balance in it to offset the glass but it is not that big of a deal since it is light weight. I am only saying this for more of a convenience then anything else.
The large glass is a 3x lens. This is a really nice for the entire viewing area of this glass. The smaller glass that is in the handle is the 45x lens and so small it is difficult to use but if you can get it centered on what you want it will work just fine. Now there are 3 LED lights that are on the underside of the glass away from the button to power them. The larger lens has 2 at the base of the glass and the smaller lens has 1 LED light. These lights are great for any kind of reading where the light may be a little bit dim.
If you are looking for a great hand held magnifying glass this one will work great for you. It is compact, lightweight, offers 3x/45x lenses, and LED lights for your reading material.
