This is a 5 inch egg pan designed for a solo egg. The pan is built very durable. The pan offers a non-stick surface for cooking. The color of pan surface I recieved is called Aubergine Purple. I am guessing you can order this in almost any color from the description. I have not pursued that avenue at this time though.
Ok this pan is designed for cooking one egg at a time so they say. I have found that if you crack 2 eggs and put them in the pan together they cook nicely together and just as easy to deal with as a solo egg. This pan is not limited to only eggs. I have used it for those nights when I am the only one home and want a hamburger patty or something similar. The pan has had no issues with anything I have cooked in it.
Now the non-stick surface is pretty impressive so far. I have had the pan for about a month now and I have not had to use any butter or oils on my food when cooking. I did test the pans non-stick ability with some shredded cheese. The pan did well as far as the non-stick.
This pan is built on durability. The pan has a thick wall unlike most cheap pans you get at a big box store. It will take some drops without being all deformed and dented. If you look at the rivits holding the handle, they are a decent sized rivit so it is not going to fall apart easily. The handle is plastic type of ABS which means you should not stick it in the oven when cooking. Then again that is not what this pan was designed to do.
If you are looking for a very solid egg pan this is one I would recommend picking up. It is very durable, has a great non-stick surface, and can handle more then only eggs. I would like to thank TECHEF and affiliates for sending me this pan to try out and share my opinion.
