Ceramic Knives Set Review

This a set of 4 ceramic bladed knives with 4 sheaths and a peeler. The knives are black including the blades. The peeler has a black handle with a white peeling surface. These knives are extremely sharp and lightweight. Included in this set of knives:

1 - 6 inch Chef knife
1 - 5 inch utility knife
1 - 4 inch fruit knife
1 - 3 inch pairing knife
1 - peeler
4 - knife sheaths
1 - box for storing

Okay to start with these things are super sharp. I have had no trouble at all when I have had to clean/trim meats, peeling fruits, cutting up vegetables, or fruits. However you will need to be careful with the tips. You can not use them like an older blade to pry seeds out of your fruits or something along those lines because the tips will break easy. If you drop them to many times the tips will also break. These knives are made very sharp and get the job done very well but are not super strong.

Since these knives are so sharp there is no need to have any real blade weight to them. If the blade does ever go dull these knives would be dangerous because of the pressure you will have to use from the handle area and how light weight the blades are.

If you are not used to really sharp knives be prepared to have a few nicks and cuts from using these until you are used to them. I have always had really sharp blades in my kitchen but my mother still uses her 30 year old Gensu knife that will not cut warm butter. She tried out these knives out cleaning some fruit. By the end of the 2 melons she had 4 nicks on her fingers.

If you are in the market for some new knives around the kitchen these are great as long as you take good care of them. They are super sharp, light weight, and made day to day jobs around the kitchen. I would like to thank AMOSTING and affiliates for sending me this set of knives to try out and share my opinion.
