WaxonWare Sauce Pan Review

This is a great pan to have in the kitchen. It is a non-stick, very durable, and cooks great. This is designed to be a sauce or gravy style of pan. This is a 3 quart pan with a glass lid.

The pan is made much like other stoneware type of pans. This pan like other stone ware type pans are built and designed to last a very long time. The base of the pan has rings to spread the heat through out the heating surface of the pan to spread the heat evenly. Next the lid is a glass lid with a silicone ring around the outside of the glass. There is a slow in the silicone ring on the lid for pouring out if you want. Now the handle is also covered in silicone making it much easier to handle when the pan is very hot. It does not transfer like a normal metal handled pan.

I have made great use of this pan. It is now the first pan I reach for almost anything I cook. I have used this pan for gravy, boiling potatoes, noodles, and my cheese sauce. I like that it is non-stick because I do not have to stand over the pan and stir constantly to avoid burning and sticking. I can tend to other things in the kitchen for diner while using this pan.

Now for cleaning this pan I recommend using warm soapy water. Yes the pan is dishwasher safe, but the company says that a dishwasher can wear on the non-stick coating over time. The pan is so easy to clean with the surface it is made with that it only takes seconds. Once I was this pan with warm soapy water I put it in the dish drainer to air dry.

If you are looking for an amazing stoneware pan this is one I recommend picking up. With a great non-stick surface, cooks evenly, and also comes with a 3 year limited warranty. I would like to thank WaxonWare and affiliates for sending me this pan to try out and share my opinion.
