Well this is a second generation expandable hose that will expand to 75 feet. The hose is designed to be light weight, compact, and kink resistant. Upon ordering this hose you will get a sprayer head included in the box. This hose also comes with a 12 month manufacturing defect warranty.
Okay to stat with, the durability of this hose. It is a second generation expandable hose, this means it has a much stronger core. They call it a double layer latex core threading. This means it does a much better job of taking the water pressure and not failing. This is my third expandable hose. The first one I had blew up on my third use from the water pressure in the hose. The core gave and was not recoverable. Thinking this was a fluke I was sent a second hose from the comapany and again after a few uses the core gave out again. So far with this hose and the new technology has not given to the water pressure. I am at probably my tenth use of the hose and it has not shown any signs of the core exploding. Next this hose also comes with very solid and rust/corrosion resistant fittings.
This hose compared to the older versions feels much more sturdy in your hand without water pressure on the hose. The previous hoses were softer then a limp noodle in your hands where this hose actually feels like a water hose. The hose does take up about 1/8 of the room a regular 75 foot hose. This hose is also only a couple of pounds in weight unlike the normal hose at 20 plus pounds.
This hose is much better and stronger then the previous generation of hoses but you still have to follow the care instructions. This means do not leave the hose out in the sun all day. Basically you do not want this out in any of the harsh weather environments or damage to the hose may happen. Since it is so light weight packing in and out is not a chore. I keep mine in an old platic bucket for packing ease. Since the hose has never kinked on me I pay no attenion on how I place it in the bucket. This makes it for quick and easy clean up after I am done with it. Much nicer then trying to wrap up a regular hose around a wall holder.
If you are in the market for a new garden hose this is one you should consider. Make sure to order the second generation hose because they seem to be built to handle water pressure finally. The hose offers a compact size, light weight, kink resistant, and comes with a warranty.
