This a canvas made pencil holder with some leather type additions. This pencil holder is designed to hold 72 pencils in all. This is a very low priced pencil holder that is built very well. This is a must for anyone that uses color pencils in any form of art work.
The pencil holder is made from canvas material making it fairly durable. It is not the thin canvas most are made from either. Next is has some leather flaps inside the pencil holder that works great at holding everything in. I put my pencils in with the points going under these flaps making it where I have the blunt ends to remove them from the holder. Next this rolls up into a log form with your pencils inside. For the secure strap to clasp in place around the holder you will need to have this bag 70% full or better or it will be to loose. This snap is possibly the weakest part of the entire case. I would liked to have seen a belt buckle type of retaining strap with multiple holes to cinch it to your desired collection of pencils.
I mess around with the adult coloring books with intricate designs. This holder works great keeping all of my pencils in place and easy to transport. It also has a small slot for a hand sharpener as well. So if you are in the market for a way to hold a larger variety of pencils for your art projects this may be one you should consider picking up.
