Car Charger Review

This is a 2 port USB adapter for your lighter plugs in your vehicles. It offers quick charge 2.0 technology. It also offers smart charging as I call it. This adapter is very compact about the size of my thumb in size. Currently it is available in in black and white colors. Upon order this it comes with a small instructions manual, 2 micro USB to USB charging cables, and the adapter.

The quick charge 2.0 technology allows this unit to charge faster then the normal USB port on say a laptop or desktop. In the specs it say 75% more but I have no way to really test that. The next great thing is the smart charging. This is where the adapter reads the device you have plugged in and will charge it at the voltage required. It will not over charge, over current, and prevent over heating. It will detect what your devices maximum charging speed and proceed to charge at that pace.

From what I can tell this adapter can be used to charge almost anything that can be charged with a USB port. I was able to recharge my phone, tablet, Bluetooth head phones, and Bluetooth speaker. I also tried out a couple of I-phones with their cables that hook to USB ports and they took a charge with out any problem.

The head of the unit will light up when you have it in a powered lighter socket. This is to let you know that it is ready to accept a USB device for charging. Not all lighter plugs are "hot" all the time so this is a great way to know for sure.

If you are looking for a new USB/lighter adapter this is a good one to consider. It is built fairly solid, it is very compact, the adapter can charge 2 items at once, comes with smart charging, and quick charge 2.0 technology. I would like to thank IOrange-E and affiliates for sending me this adapter to try out and share my opinion.
