SNAP'N STRAIN strainer Review

This is a little bit from the normal build for a strainer. It is very unique and simple to use. As far as I know it does only come in a pea green color.

This strainer works by clipping onto the side lip of the pan being used. It requires the larger pan sizes to fit easily. It attaches with 2 clips that are much like pins for your close line. These clips do require a bit of strength to clip them onto the pan. My mother had a lot of trouble getting the clips onto her pan because of how rigid they are. The clips have to be rigid like this to be able to take the pressure of what you are straining. If they did not lock tight you would have a lot of food waste.

The strainer is made out of food grade silicone less the clips. This means it is not going to break down quick when it is subjected to boiling water. Being made from silicone it is really easy to take care of and clean. It is dishwasher safe if you want to give a full cleaning to the strainer. I use warm water and soap when I clean mine.

The strainer makes it possible to use both hands on the handle of the pan for better control. The vented holes of the trainer are decent size so you will not be able to do fine straining with this strainer. It does however work great with almost any noodle. I have made mac and cheese a few times since getting this strainer and it has worked perfectly.

If you are looking for a more compact strainer this is one to consider. It offers space saving, easy use, attaches directly to the pan, and allows you to have more stability when pouring for what you are straining. I would like to thank Osaka coffee and affiliates for sending me this strainer to try out and share my opinion.
