Power Bank 20000mah Review

This is a large capacity portable back up battery charger from Imarku Co. The power bank is modle number K-68. Upon ordering this unit it comes with the battery pack, a USB to Micro USB cable, insructions, and a sheath.

To start with this has a very large capacity 20,000Mah at max. This will provide many recharges on multiple devices before needing to recharge it. I was able to charge my smart phone 5 times and my tablet 2 times off of one charge of this backup battery. The next time I used it only for my tablet and it was able to recharge it a total of 4 times before it was drained again. That is a lot of extra hours of play/talk time with your devices.

Next I did a test on several types of devices to check capability. I use it on an LG smart phone (driod), nexus smart phone (windows), and an Iphone (apple). All three of these phones attached and took a charge without any issues. I also used it on 2 different tablets Ipad and droid. Again no issues taking a charge for either. The next test was on my ear buds and speakers. I have 3 sets of Bluetooth speakers and 2 sets of Bluetooth ear buds. All of them took a charge with out issues. Pretty much any device that can use a USB port to charge can be hooked up to this battery backup.

This unit offers what I call smart charging. It will detect your devices battery and max rate to receive a charge and charges at that pace. It also has a chip set in it to protect against over charging, over volt, and prevent short circuts. There are also 2 different charging levels to choose between on the USB ports of this unit. They are 2.1A and 1.0A ports. The power bank also offers the ability to charge multiple devices at one time with these ports.

When it comes to charging the battery back up unit it is simple. It can recharge from almost any USB source as well. I was able to charge it from my laptop and desktop which takes about 1 1/2 hour to charge fully. I was also able to charge it from my 110 to USB wall socket adapter and this way took about 70 minutes to complete a recharge. I was also able to recharge this with my lighter socket USB adapter in my car. This not a method I suggest using because it is very slow. Took almost 3 hours to recharge it with my lighter adapter.

Using the power bank is super simple. To use it on your device you plug the Micro USB cable into your device and then plug it into the bank. If you have an Ipad/phone use their funky end in your device and then plug it into the USB port. Once the device is attached to the power bank it will turn on and begin charging the device. Then to recharge the power bank you plug in the micro USB cable to the power bank and then the USB end into a powered USB slot. As the power bank is recharging there are 4 blue LED lights to scale where it is at on the recharge.

Also included with this power bank was a sleeve/sheath to help proctect it. It is a very snug fitting sheath. It feels much like a felt surface of a pool table. This thin padding may also help on impact damage incase you accidently drop it.

Now for the design and size of this unit. It is a unique design for sure. It is about the same thickness of a standard smart phone. The power bank is about 4 inches in width and about 6 inches in length. So it is fairly large even though the power bank is fairly flat. For me the power bank being so thin works out great. I have a 10 inch tablet with a cover. This power bank slips easily inside the tablet sleeve with my tablet and really easy to transport.

If you are in the market for a large capacity power bank that can charge 2 devices at once this is one you need to consider. This power bank will provide a lot of extra hours to your devices battery life. It offers the abilty to recharge your device with out being teethered to a wall. I would like to thank Yamsine Yang from Imarku Co., Ltd Marketing Dept and affiliates for sending me this power bank to try out and share my opinion.
