This flashlight is not your normal multi function flashlight. It offers 3 different light sources for many different situations. All of the light functions of this flash light are LED lights so they have a long life span before needing replaced. Upon ordering this flash light it comes with the flash light, an instructions manual, and a warranty.
First off the durability of the flashlight. The casing appears to be made from aluminum. This makes it where it can tolerate some drops and bumping into objects. I would not go using it for a hammer and it is not as durable as a police issued 5 cell mag light. However it could be used in defense if need be. It would hold up long enough to entertain your attacker to get them away.
Next are the 3 light functions of the flash light. It is easy to move through the different lights. It is a simple press of the button and it changes the light source. First click gives you the regular flashlight. Since it is LED it is extrememly bright and can light up a good 20 feet in front of you with clear visibility. Second click gives you the bank lights. This lights up 18 LED lights on the side of the flash light. If you set the flash light on the counter and face the bank lights out they will easily light up a small room. The third click of the power button brings the flashing red lights around the top of the flash light. This is to help you be spotted if you are in need of assistance. It will bring attention to you and possibly get you the assistance you need. The fourth click of the power button returns it to the off position.
Now for some of the features of this flashlight. For starters all of the lights are LED so they are super bright and have thousands of hours use before needing replaced. The flash light operates off of 2 AAA batteries (not included). The cap area where the batteries go into is will help repell water so you can take it out in the rain if you need to. It would not take being submerged though. Also on the base where the battery cap is located is a magnet. This magnet is not super strong and will hardly hold the weight of the flash light. It is however designed to set on the top of a car if you are broke down. For instance if you have a flat tire you can grab this flash light and click it 3 times and set the magnet to the top of the car in an upright position and it will flash a red light making you more visible to others.
If you are in the need of a very bright and compact flashlight that is going to survive being around for an exteneded time, I recommend picking up this flash light. I would like to thank Flora and affiliates for sending me this multi function flash light to try out and share my opinion.
