These are small trash cans shaped like your normal 50 gallon can. These are only about quart size. They are a 100% plastic excpet for the sticker on it. They seem to be pretty durable with all I put mine through. When I ordered mine it came as a set of two cans.
To start with the lids on these cans snap on tightly and can be a little difficult to remove the lid. I have found that the best way to remove the lid is to squeeze it at the top pinching the sides together. Around the lip on the top of the can there is two area where lip is recessed. That is the optimal point to squeeze the lid to pop it off the top of the can. However this does still require someone having pretty good sized hands with decent grip strength to pop it free. There is a great benefit to the lid ftting so snug though, if it is dropped the lid is not going to pop off and create a mess easily.
These small cans have so many uses past being a pooper scooper catcher. I use one of my cans for its desired purpose. I do use a liner in mine as well. This liner is a Wal-Mart bag since they love to send you out of the store with 15 bags for 6 items. I do not have any issues with the cap fitting on as snug with a liner inside the can. It seems to make it a little bit easier to remove the lid with the liner there as well. Now for the second can I have all of my cables in. If you are like me you have a dozen or so small electronics that all come with their own charging cable. These canisters can be used for any small collection pieces for storage and safety from getting lost or spread out all over the place.
If you are needing a great canister for pet refuse collection or any small collections these will certainly do you good to pick up. They are plastic which makes them simple to keep clean, much like any other trash can.
