Solar Glass Ball LED Light Review

These lights are really cool. They seem to be fairly durable as well. They are powered by solar energy so you do not have to worry about tripping on cords. Upon ordering these globes there were 2 complete holders including a plastic cap for going in the ground, 2 extension rods, the solar panels attached to the bulbs, 2 glass globes, and an instructions manual.

To start with these things are a lot taller then you thing upon ordering them. I cut down the extension rods on mine. The ones that attach to the plastic spike going to the ground and to the bottom of the solar panel. You can not cut the top part with the bulds though since the wiring goes through there. Now these metal rods going into the plastic housing are very lose and makes the lights really wobble. So I put a piece of duck tape around the bottom of the metal enough to make it a tight fit but not where it could be seen. Now they stand attention and do not sway in light winds. I did this for every plasic to metal attachment areas.

The hardest part of all this was putting the globes up on top of the lighting area. There are 2 springs that you have to pull together and they are not the easiest to move. Once you have them compressed you slip the glove over the top and then the hold the globe in place very well with no movement at all.

These are not designed to light the path so you can see everything around you. They are designed to add color and aww to the walk. They can mark the edges of the walk as well so you can guage where you are safe to walk at though. These lights rotate between many colors as well making it very cool instead of a solid boring color.

If you are in the marker for some outside ligthts to add to the surroundings and increase safty a bit by marking the safe ares these globes will more then take care of your needs. I would like to thank Sunflor and affiliates for sending me these solar light globes to try out and share my opinion.
