This is a belt that is able to be cut down to the size belt you need up to a maximun 50 inches. It is a brown leather belt with a synthetic backing. It has a very unique buckle that is kind of neat. This product however was not one I got 100% free it ended up costing me 1% which is not very much. It came to a total of 16 cents which I think is more then the belt is really worth.
To start with you can get a full leather belt at Wal-Mart for 10 dollars. So this belt having a synthetic backing is truly sad. The best part of this entire belt is the stitching. It is very nicely done and appears to be durable. Next the part that the buckle latches to on the inside of the belt is made of cheap plastic. So if you hook it on anything while you are moving the belt will be toast because it is going to rip the teeth right out of it.
How the belt adjusts for cutting is a fairly simple procedure. There are markings on the inside of the belt measuring from 50 inches to 30 inch waists. There is a roll out clamp at the buckle that attaches to the belt. You pull that tab out and you can see the teeth that are in there for gripping the belt. Insert the belt after you have it cut down to the size you need in to the end of the buckle. Press the tab down and the teeth will lock in to the belt and clip into place.
The buckle is kind of neat how it works. On the inside of the belt there is a plastic strip of ridges that the buckle hooks into. It works much like a teeter totter. Once you slide it on it is secure and in place. To release it there is a handle on the bottom side of the belt that you press down to release the bar in the ridges. The buckle is very heavy and durable. Sadly it will only work with this type of belt with the rigdes in the back side of the belt.
This is a nice belt for dress or any part of your life where you do not intend to be active. I like how easy it is to set up for your size waist. So if you are in the market for a dress belt for limited uses this is for sure something to consider. It comes in a small box set up to store the belt in. It has a nice pull tab to pull it in and out like a dresser drawer with this box. I would like to thank MABUA EMPIRE, LLC. for sending me this belt to try out and share my opinion.
