This is a punch designed for small leather work jobs. It seems to be built with a lot of durability. It has a comfortable grip while you are using it. It has 6 options on the size of punch you need for your job. These sizes are 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4, and 4.5.
For the durability you can see with how it is rivitted together. They are solid and able to take a lot of impact. This is important when working with any tool and leather. If you have never had to work with leather it is very difficult to cut, tear, or sew. If the tool is not built durable leather work will destroy it in no time. Now for the adjustable head on the unity you can hear a solid click as it goes into place to hold the punch size you need firm while appling pressure to create your hole. The only part of this entire unit that I find that is not made to be durable is the clip at the bottom of the handles. It is plastic and does not really hold any value to the punch. I like the design and how it is supposed to work to keep the punch stored a bit more safe and only wish it was a metal clip. I am sure the plastic clip will break quickly after some use but as I said, it is not important to the working of the hole punch.
This hole punch is designed with 6 differnt head sizes. That makes it where it can fit prety much any style or size of belt buckle. For me this has been a great thing since I have went on a diet and my belts were running out of holes and no longer fitting me. I know once I do finally get to my desired size I will purchase a new belt, but until then I do not have to buy 5 belts as I am reducing in size. This punch is going to save me a bit of money along my journey.
Now for those needing a tool for working with leather belts and such this is a nice tool to have around. Like any other manual mechanical leather tool it is still takes a bit of strength to use this hole punch. If you are looking for a very durable leather belt punch tool this one will take care of your needs. It is durable and super easy to adjust for what size hole you need to punch.
