E03S LED Solar Spotlight Review

This is a very nice solar light. It is much brighter than most I have seen so far. It is easy to install and has a decent warranty as well. Upon ordering this light I go the light assembly with the solar panel, some hardware screws and mollys, a garden spike, and an instructions manual.

To start with installing this is a piece of cake. The fastest and most easy is the garden spike. It attaches to the bottom of the light assembly and you then press it into the ground where you want the light placed. The rest of the installation methods do not use the ground spike. On the base of the assembly there is a plate with some screw holes in it. You can simply put the base to a wood surface and drive in a couple of wood screws. If you needing to mount to a metal surface you will need to drill the holes and get nuts and bolts to secure it. The other option uses the Mollys included in the package to secure to brick walls or surfaces like that. I try to stay away from Mollys I have never had much luck with them staying for any great length of time.

Now once you have figured out how you are going to mount it you have to now set it up for direction. The light arm only swings in a 180 degree angle so you need to make sure that you get the light set up  in the direction you need before the final placement. Once you have the placement and direction down there is a turn knob on the arm of the light that tightens the light into place. The light is rated for some water protection at an IP 65 rating. What this means is: Able to protect against water jets, Water projected by a nozzle (6.3 mm) against enclosure from any direction shall have no harmful effects, and Water volume: 12.5 litres per minute for 15 minutes. What this means is the light can withstand rain and water sprinklers. Do not put it at the bottom of your fish pond though because it is not able to be submerged and survive. So if you are placing in your garden make sure it is in an area that is not going to flood.

If you are looking for a great light for approaching people to your door way at night, if you have a prized shrub or flower bed, or a dangerous path that needs lighting in the dark you can not go wrong with this solar light. These lights are very bright and can be blinding if you look directly into them so you will need to keep that in mind as well when you are installing them. From there it is about maintenance. Keeping the panel clean so it can get the most sun light. Making sure there is a clear placement to the sun for the solar panel. The battery that is in the light is supposed to last for 1 1/2 years on average.

For the settings of low and high on the brightness it pushes out. If you run the light on high full time it says it will last 5 to 6 hours, for me it was actually a little over 4 hours. On the low setting it says it can maintain for 9 to 12 hours. I know it was on before I went to bed and was still going when I got up the next morning early. I do not do that often but I wanted to check to make sure it that it was lit all night. So if you are in the market for a security light, garden light, or walk path lighting this is a great choice to consider. I would like to thank Betterbox and affiliates for sending me this solar spotlight to try out and share my opinion.
